I have never owned a Titleist carry bag before, but preordered the x87 and it just came in today. After taking it out for 9 holes, I have to say that it is a really impressive bag. It has more pockets thanany Hoofer I have previously owned, and the dividers for the clubs are really good at keeping the irons from getting tangled. More than anything, it has soooo many pockets to really tuck thingss away. This bag is really a must have for an avid walker, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who spends more time on foot than in a cart, although it has these nifty zipper covers for the legs that tuck them away for cart use. Looking at the website description, I was a little skeptical about some of hte features, but after seeing it in person they are as good as advertised if not better. Coming from Ping, which had such a narrow leg span, this bag is a virtual brick wall on windy days. Just my two cents, in case any one was looking at the newest offerings from Titliest.

I have had an x67 and x77 and have found these bags to be the best carry/cart bag I have every used. I use it on my speed cart and carry. I like the multiple pockets, but the club protection is the best. It is not the lightest bag to carry, but it will not break your a$$ if you were to go 36.

I'm looking at the titleist bags, and they pitch the two bags very closely..... why buy one over the other???

x88 Stand Bag

Sporty, High-Performance Stand Bag

x87 Stand Bag

Premium, Fully-Featured Stand Bag

What makes one high performance and the other fully featured? Jeez, just make a single one and stop messing with my mind.

I had an X77 but I found it was just too heavy for me to use as my main carry bag......and the bottom mechanism was too wide to fit down in the well of a cart without turning the bag 45 degrees so I couldn't use it as a cart bag either. Nice materials, good design, great strap system.....but completely unfunctional for what I wanted so I sold it.

the 88 is a little lighter (5.6lbs) and the pockets are smaller than the 87 (6.2lbs). the latter is roomier and has one extra divider in the top. delve a little deeper into the description and the differences become quite obvious.

I should mention that the feet are too big to fit regular way on a cart, which is slightly inconvienant when i tried it. Also, it took a couple tries to fit into my Club Glove Burst Proof, but finally got it to sit right by putting it in sideways. Those being my only two complaints, it makes a great walking bag and while it does fit on a cart, it does not appear to be designed thoughtfully to do so.

I just purchased the x86 and I love it. I have yet to walk any holes with it but since it is only 3.xx pounds i see that being a breeze. I love the look and the legs on it.....they come out easy and there is no chance of this bag falling over. I did notice this weekend when putting it on a cart I had to turn it a bit sideways so the foot on the bottom wouldn't be pressed thus releasing the legs....no biggie though

Great bag!!

I just ordered the X87 from The World of Golf for $139 shipped. No tax / no shipping cost and it's going to be here before Christmas. TWOG also accepts Paypal which was a nice benefit. I'm looking forward to getting the bag and giving a review. One of the main reasons for choosing the bag was this forum and all the positive reviews. Thanks guys
