Finley
Duke
Chapel Ridge
The Preserve
Mill Creek
Heritage
River Ridge
Eagle Ridge
I have not played Heritage.
If $$ is not a concern, definitely hit up Finley or Duke, they are both great tracks!!!!
Finley is a beast since Fazio redesigned it, Duke was always good, but is supposedly even better now after a some modifications, you will be pleased either way.

Chapel Ridge is nice(play the back tees)
Heritage isn't bad
Eagle Ridge(heard greens were bad because of the drought)
The Preserve is a short target style golf course(doing a Longdrive/trick shot demo here on Friday)
River Ridge is a nice course(free range balls)
UNC has great practice facilities(havent played the course yet, but may be busy from the kids at school)
when are you coming in and leaving? maybe we can hook up. I'm leaving for vacation on tuesday eve, but maybe we can get together before hand.

Personally, I would probably hit up Finley. It's a nice course and close to the airport. It's also only a few miles from Southpoint.
Chapel Ridge is great as well, but it's probably another 15-20 minutes of driving past the Preserve from the Airport. It can also be hard to find if you don't know the area well.

Come on down this Friday if you have a chance. I'm doing a LD/trick shot demo for a golf outing and hitting drives for them on the 9th hole to raise money. The show starts at 8:15-8:30ish and lasts for 1/2 hr. I will be there around 7:30 to warm up. Stop on by and say hi.

My favorite courses in order:
Chapel Ridge: This course is the most fun for me, its long, dynamic, this GC practically has everything you can imagine and I just love it. The thing is its in Pittsboro which is about good 30 mins from Southpoint mall.
River Ridge: This course isn't the longest but its a very exciting course with needs of good shot shaping and placement and putting here is always adventurous. This one is about 35 mins away from Southpoint mall.
Preserve at Jordan Lake: I think this course is one of the most difficult course in the area, beside Fall's Village (Fall's Village is always a good choice). Narrow fairway, very technical golf course, and BEAUTIFUL scenery. This one is also about 30 mins from Southpoint mall.
UNC Finley: I think UNC Finley is mixture of 3 courses above and always have pleasure of playing here. This one is 10-15 mins from Southpoint mall.
I think when my buddies are in town, we had most fun at Chapel Ridge and River Ridge. These two are my all time favorite within 35 min drive.
idrive400yrds, I wish I could come out and watch you but gonng be out of town all weekend. We should meet up for a round.
