It really freaks me out when people don't re-cover these 3 clubs when they aren't in use.
A. They get all dented up.
B. They get cold, metaphorically speaking. A cold putter is about as good as a white shirt in the rain. Might as well not even be there. Keep those three clubs warm and you wont have an issue.

What about your irons? I never understood all the hate for iron covers by golfers (WRXers) who use driver, wood, and putter covers. If anything, forged irons are more susceptible to dents and chatter than titanium drivers and woods...makes no sense.

I don't personally use covers on my irons. I play cast irons, i25s. So it really doesn't matter much.
If I played forged irons I would probably give iron covers some very deep thought. Nothing worse than an expensive set of beauties that have been bag chattered to death.

If i find a lost ball out on the course. I usually don't pick it up... Its bad luck to play someones lost ball.
If for instance it's a ProV--> I will pick it up, but under no circumstances will i play it that day. It has to understand its owner has changed. Only then can it be played.
Only ProVs and expensive golf balls get the exception... You aren't going to just leave four dollars laying around though...
