Leather is our real leather, while duraleather is our synthetic leather. Both are equally durable and quite alike, so it really depends on your preference. However, if you are looking at laser engraving text or images on your headcovers, the engraving will turn out better on the duraleathers.

I was thinking about making a custom leather headcover using a picture of our two dogs. I have two different images, and I was wondering if the actual photo or the portrait would be better for the headcover. From there, which of the two images would turn out better with embroidering vs laser engraving? Would I need to work with someone directly on the designer and their interpretation of the image?

I've attached the two different images for reference.

The top image would look the best. We can really nail it on the head with the laser engraving and have it looking awesome!

The portrait images would work great with embroidery or laser engraving -- engraving wouldn't have color definition, but it would come out more precise than embroidery.
