I am very comfortable with my gender but was wondering about the Queen Bee models. I have been interested in a few models but originally wondered if they're made for women. I've been a Bettinardi guy since 2000 and have owned several models. However I am open to any model or make putter. I just can't get over the name. I can see someone say, "Great putt! What kind is it? As I yell it's a Queen Bee I can imagine the looks I would get. Does anyone else think a different name might have been better? It's not a huge deal but why not King Bee or whatever?
Just something to think about.

FWIW, I'd putt with a Scotty Cameron My Girl putter (pink grip and all) if it was going to shave strokes off my game.

I've rolled a few of the QB series and came very very close to buying one recently.  Still kind of regretting not getting that one.

Probably cause there is no such thing as a King Bee. Lol Queen Bee rules the hive. I have a custom QB6 already but ordered a custom QB8 recently. Like the look of QB8 bit can't stand single/double bend shafts and prefer no alignment aid. So i went custom with no alignment and a plumbers neck. And is someone asks what you are using, just say a Bettinardi QB8.

I tipped the shaft on my QB6 to reduce the offset and give it a little toe hang. Worked out pretty well.

Can you post a pic? I may go down this route if it comes out to being about 1/2 shaft offset.

Address and toe hang pic

How much did you tip the shaft in order to achieve this?

I don't recall sorry!  I no longer have that putter. It was no exact science, more of a tinkering hack job. I'd guess about an inch :)

No problem! I figured it was worth a shot to get involved in the forum and ask. I Just picked up one of the QB6 Copper inserts from this year and was looking to convert from face balanced to around 20-30 degrees of toe hang and about a 34.5 inch putter. I'll post my tinkering too! :taunt:

Really nice looking putter.  I have messed around with this one in a pro shop and it sets up really well.  If Steven Bowditch can make putts with it, anyone can lol.

Love seeing a QB victory. I've been rocking the 8 and the weight and feel is insane. The finish on hers is awesome

I agree. That finish is awesome. I went with a QB8 for my first Bettinardi and won't be going back after the way I have been putting this summer! I would recommend a QB8 to anyone looking for a putter with a great look and feel.

Agreed that finish is insane! Any idea what it's called?
