I'm about to pull the trigger on either a Scotty Squareback or the Queen B 6, any comparisons for look and feel?

Feel os going to go to the queen b. Just my opinion but i haven't liked the feel of a Scotty in awhile. They either have to be the old carbon heads he made or gave the teryllium insert for me to even try them. Bettinardi's have always felt less clicky to me which i prefer

I have gamed every putter under the sun and I was hitting everything with the QB6, just felt too good!  I searched high and low on the BST and finally was able to nab one.  I had two PM's immediately following the purchase offering to buy mine if something fell through.  I

like the Squarbacks alignment + but the feel of the QB6 is unbelievable. The SQ felt a little clicky to me.  The things that sets the QB6 apart from everything else is the finish!

I scooped up a QB -6 a few months back and I love it. It's got a killer finish and is very easy on my eyes. If it's for chicks I don't care... I like it

I've got a buddy in my regular foursome who picked one of these up once he started seeing Bowditch doing well with it.  I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the weight to the putter (feels like it can't go off your path), and my friend is putting lights out with it.  I think the best look to have is the ball going in the hole.  I'd putt with a driver if I could make that happen more consistently...

I just went from a SC Golo 7 to the Kuchar Model 1 Standard. I know this is not the QB 6 but it's similar.  Anyway, I love the feel & look! It feels more solid and less of a tinny pop at impact than the SC Golo 7. You also need to factor in what ball you are playing. I must say that my putts seem to roll truer for a longer distance than the SC Golo 7.

I believe that has to do with the head weight & FIT face of the Kuchar Model 1 Standard vs a hollowed out SC Golo 7.

Hope this helps!

I just purchased one of these from another member for my wife but after playing around with it on the putting green, it may be going in my bag. What a great feeling putter and it sure looks nice at address. I think I'll be selling one of my other Bettinardi's and purchasing another one of these for myself or my wife.

Whoever it's modeled for doesn't matter to me because it' stands in its own category  far beyond any other brand for a truly one of a kind putter.

Bettinardi QBs are top 3 of best looking putters in my personal opinion. I definitely got that same impression when I first heard the name, however. But, as others have mentioned, if the lines are sleek and it plays amazing, I couldn't care less if said women's putter on the grip.

Is there any difference between the QB6 and the SS9 other than the finish and 8 grams of weight? They look identical.

Quite a bit of difference, actually-
- The QB has a micro honeycomb face, where the SS9 has a FIT face.
- The QB is shorter from heel to toe, the overall shape is square, and the SS9 is wide from back to front, but not square.
- The QB has like twice as much offset as the SS9

I have been eyeing the Queen B and after reading this forum, Queen B will be my next purchase.  I demo at golf and ski and the feel is incredible, no clicky sounds like my notchback and SQ.

Can anyone help me with a little rust issue on my Queen B? Its just in a couple of isolated spots and was noticed about 24 hrs after playing in torrential rain on a links so i suspect despite my best efforts at cleaning there was moisture and sand in the headcover when it was put away.

Can anyone recommend a product or link to a post on the best way to treat the rust on the putter? I dont want to just plow in there with some over the counter rust removal and further damage her. Thanks

Bumping this oldie...through some very amateur engineering (don't ask) I'll confidently say it's around 1.66 shafts offset. I now own a pair of Queen Bees, an off the rack 6 and a DASS QB6 with fit face, after selling the one in this thread I putter ho'd full circle :)

I tipped the shaft on my QB6 to reduce the offset and give it a little toe hang. Worked out pretty well.

Can you post a pic? I may go down this route if it comes out to being about 1/2 shaft offset.

Address and toe hang pic

How much did you tip the shaft in order to achieve this?

I don't recall sorry!  I no longer have that putter. It was no exact science, more of a tinkering hack job. I'd guess about an inch :)
