I am very comfortable with my gender but was wondering about the Queen Bee models. I have been interested in a few models but originally wondered if they're made for women. I've been a Bettinardi guy since 2000 and have owned several models. However I am open to any model or make putter. I just can't get over the name. I can see someone say, "Great putt! What kind is it? As I yell it's a Queen Bee I can imagine the looks I would get. Does anyone else think a different name might have been better? It's not a huge deal but why not King Bee or whatever?
Just something to think about.

Bettinardi....... B....... Bee....... In every Colony the Queen bee rules.  The drones( Snotty Camaroon 's) and the worker bees(Odyssey' s)  serve the Queen..... There is no King Bee....

These were originally marketed at women, but obviously anybody can use them. Just call it a Bettinardi QB, and change the paint fill if making too many putts with one would draw negative attention.

I really don't see the need though, it's a putter and the shapes of this line are really appealing. That alone is enough for me to test one out regardless of the design on the sole or the paint fill.

I'm not a huge fan of the name either, but I really love the look of this putter.  It's probably going to be my next purchase, since I've got a gift card to Golfsmith I need to use.  I'm hoping it comes in a different color than purple next year.  IMO, it's one of the best looking Bettis out there right now.

I totally agree and have never said I would not use one and I too find them attractive. I originally thought they were marked for women but have seen many here owned my men. So, I asked to clarify, thanks for the reply.

IMHO the QB6 is the best OTR betti has ever made.

I wish he would make it in a plumbers neck.  No changes, just the neck.

Never had an issue telling anyone what model it was.

Could have named it vag hubris and I still would have bought one.

I would have a QB6 in a second if it wasnt so damn chunky! I love the purple but the shape is awful behind the ball, same way with that Kuchar model.  Too much Scotty squareback and not enough Bettinardi Signature 7. The Odyssey Metal X Milled 1w and Black series 1w is about as big as you can go on a Anser stlye head and not have it look terrible.  Maybe it's the rounded bumpers?  Giannini G4 is another one that looks so much better.

Anyone have any pics of the new QB6? I like it but there's only crappy stock pics of it. It would be nice to see the offset better

I've been recently looking into getting a Queen Bee putter. Initially, was interested in the QB6 but learned that it is face balanced which I hear isn't ideal for a slight arc putting stroke. The QB7 seems like it would fit better given that it has a bit a toe hang.

I really wish local stores would carry them so that I could try both before buying.  :(

I tipped the shaft on my QB6 to reduce the offset and give it a little toe hang. Worked out pretty well.

Can you post a pic? I may go down this route if it comes out to being about 1/2 shaft offset.

Everyone likes them so much I bought a 2012 QB2. It will be here next week. I have a problem with my putts coming up a little short. I use a DASS putter. To get the same feel in carbon steel I have to hit it harder. I hope the 360 head will also help. The muni greens I play are good but slow. Their must be some love for the QB by the replies. I did read the original info and they were originally a line of putter made for ladies. It's just that the men liked them too. Also I purposely did not want the FIT face because it works and I do not want a muted feel. We'll see next week how it works out. Some real beauties posted here.

I think it is a pretty good looking putter.

If you have any issues with the "designed for women" part, I think changing out the grip and the headcover will go a long ways in making it look less feminine.

I use a 32 inch pink ladies v line odyssey. Money putter. Sometimes I'll rotate it with a ping women's rhapsody. Ridiculous how hard it is to get a 32 inch putter.

The design is part of what I like. I would use a neon pink putter if I made more putts. I am just concerned how the weight and carbon will felt my local course. I think it is a good combination for me at this time.

I always assumed that the name did not imply it was a ladies putter.  Kind of like naming your car a girls name, doesn't make you a lady too.  Maybe it is a ladies putter and I'm dumb but I thought it was a pretty good putter when I messed around with it.  There are always the 1k plus Bettis if you really want to blow your wad....

It would probably be a little weird for me to name it a man's name. LOL The putter arrived a few days ago and I absolutely love this one. My guess on the carbon and weight worked perfect. I am getting the ball to the hole consistently and for the first time in years excited about my putter and putting.

The Cashmere finish is beautiful and the putter feels perfectly balanced. It's odd but I did not like the extended back flange of the Matt Kutcher model but have no problems with this design.

Thanks for the Queen Bee positive posts. You helped me improve my putting and steered me to a great putter.
