I've been playing TT DG R300, Ping CS lite Stiff and graphite 85g stiff in my irons.
Recently, I found a good deal on the web but the problem is that the set is only available with NS pro 950 R-flex.
I don't know what to do right now. Right now, I'm leaning toward buying the set if they play similar to TTDG R-300.
What do I expect from the NS pro R-flex? Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you.

Slightly higher trajectory, mid bend point.   Plays slight weaker than R300.  Smoothness of graphite, light weight and dispersion rate of steel.  One of the better shafts on the market.

My driver ss: 95, smooth take away and transition.  Fits me well.

I could probably be in the R flex myself.  The DG R300 feel heavier & stiffer than Nippons, DG will never have that Nippon feel.  DG lower ballflight, and IMO just too harsh feeling.  My driver SS is 95 - 98 and 7 iron distance is 150 - 160.  I play stiff and they're fine, I'm on the fence for R flex with all my clubs really.  Nippon smooth and sweet feeling, great if they fit you.

I play NS Pro 950 shafts in a stiff. I demoed some clubs last week and tried both the R and the S and didn't feel like the Rs were whippy at all.

Not too whippy, at least I have never thought so.  They do require a smooth tempo though

I have a set of Titleist 775.cb with NS PRO 970 R installed. I will assume that the shafts are the Nippons 950s.

I do hit the ball high but they are straight. My swing speed is quite quick and I have a Titleist D2 with V2 Stiff and get on very well with this combo

I've got the 950 stiffs in my irons. They are substantially ighter than the DGs, but the feel is VERY sweet. The good thing about these iron (& shafts) is that I've FINALLY learned to not try and kill the ball every time. I've been taking one less club and hitting it smoothly with some fairly decent results. If it weren't for the shafts I still wouldn't have tried swinging like that.

Actually the 950 and the Titleist/Nippon 970 are slightly different shafts, with a different step pattern and step design.  I have the R flex 970s in a set of TM 300s as well as a set of TM300s with the OEM version of the Nippon 950, and I think the Titleist version plays slightly stiffer than the standard 950 and they feel a little different to me.  I much prefer the Titleist version to be honest.

Usually in between flexes (R-S) in my irons. I've played the Nippon in R flex in a set of 701 tours and was very happy with the shaft. Played the same shaft but S flex in a set of MX 300 and the flex was to way to stiff. Standard 7i 160 to 165 yards. Pretty fast tempo.

I play the Nippon 950s Stiff in my TM TP MCs and they are the sweetest feeling steel shafts I've played. My 6i ss is 86, Dr is 102. When you get used to the Nippons, it feels like the shaft does the work for you.

TM RBZ Stage2 tour 4 hybrid, Fuji Fuel
