So a couple weeks ago, I received my December box (Executive again) and was again, not impressed. I actually got a box this time, so I was thinking something good was about to pop out! Wrong again! I got 1 Matte Grey 1/2 Zip pullover that was Heather Grey (?), 1 Matte Grey 1/2 Zip Pullover that was Charcoal Grey, and a peach colored Matte Grey polo (which I'll probably wear). Why the h*** would you send 2 of the same item that is just different colors?!?!?!?!?! I was ready to cancel my subscription on the spot.
Complaint/Question #2: Contacted ShortPar4 again, and was looking for an answer. I didn't want a refund, or another discounted box; I just wanted to know why I got 2 of the same items. Their response was an apology and that I could exchange it for something of equal value, and another offer of a discounted box. When I told them I was already receiving discounted boxes, they said to have a box for free. Well I'm not going to pass up a free box and they hooked me again.
Has anyone else had either of these 2 scenarios happen to them? I have a free box for January and a 50% off box for February that I still may use, but I know for a fact I haven't received $160 worth of items in either two boxes and am not going to waste my money on false promises.
It’s unfortunate that you didn’t like the Matte Grey stuff. I loved it. Ended up getting every polo and pullover through the mulligan shop. It’s probably the best stuff i have received in nearly 2 years of being a subscriber.
As for the duplications, etc. unfortunately, they clearly don’t have a method for tracking things. I’ve received 3 of the exact same pair of adidas pants, and the first pair i received, i Mulligan’d.
Ive also received at least 3/4 of the exact same polo just in different colors. The puma and Travis Mathews ones come to mind immediately.
I’ve been on discounted boxes all but one month of my 23 month subscription. I have enough for January to get my last discounted and final box. They won’t be able to keep me as a customer regardless.
