Well we have become accustomed to some great designs out of Callaway for their wedges of late. Nothing stopping them next year. Look at these babies. Wow.

Forged 1020 carbon steel
Mack Daddy Grooves
C grind of 56 and 60 models

Launches January 15th

man those look nice...

so are the MD grooves going to be on the 56 as well as the 60...?

i wish they'd do the MD's on the 54 and 58 with that same C grind... i prefer the 54/58 setup...

I love the xtour wedges... and the grind on the new ones is a great addition for this year.

I will be getting a full set if they oblige the lefties.

I reall like this new design in the wedges. The looks are simple and classic. I also like the new head shape as well. These could easily find a way into my bag once the RAC TP grooves wear down this coming year.

Thanks as always easyyy for the :kewlpics: I've never been 100% on the Cally bandwagon, but after seeing all the new stuff, I might jump on.

Great pics thanks. These look awesome and will definitely give my Titleists a run for the money. I'm thinking it will be between these and the alleged new TVD Titleists next year. And if the TVDs don't have some nice grinding on them like these then I'm thinking the Callys will win.

Great looking wedges - is that finish black nickel or

Thanks for the pics once again :ok:

FORGOT to mention that the finish now seems to be dull all over the head and not partly satin like in the old X Tour wedges from Cally - great new addition to this wedge

That's what a modern wedge should look like.

Better than the legendary Spin Milled? We'll see.

Claus, the grey one is the new vintage finish, so it's raw. Looks really nice IMO.

Thanks for the great pics Richard! Just judging by these pics, I prefer the shape of the X-Tour's, but the grinds on these look great.

They will have 62 and 64* but C grinds only on the 58 and 60* per a sales guy at Roger Dunn Golf shop.

Do all C grind X Tour wedges have the MD "Mack Daddy" grooves? I don't need MD grooves.

Sadly it doesn't look like the RG designed muscle backs made the cut for next year. Only the X forged wedges. At least the reps. I talked to didn't see or hear anything about them.

If they put the 48* model back in the lineup, they may knock my vokeys out of my bag.

They do look nice don't they. The fact that both Cleveland and now Callaway are quite happy to release new wedges with aggressive groves, makes a mockery of Titleist holding off any new Vokeys because of the upcoming USGA groove rules. Wonder how many sales they'll lose to the likes of the CG12 and X-Forged in the meantime?

I wish Callaway wedges were a little heavier. X tour come in D3-D4. I prefer a D6. Hopefully they go heavier because that 48* and up lineup is awesome, I have a little gap to fill. Cleveland DSG's may discover the business end of my whoreish ways.

C grind is a grind on the sole of the wedge that looks like a C: a toe, heel, and trailing edge relief grind.
