Hi folks.  I think its about time a location is established for information and reviews of the ignored genre that could be titled 'Instructional dvd's' within the golf world.  There have been a lot of them produced over the past 30 years.  There is even room for some reviews of the video's that were produced awhile back and have not been converted to dvd formats.

It kind of amazes me that there is not a section  in GolfWRX that highlights this area.  You have some of the best instructors in the world making these productions and some terrific documentaries as well.  There really isn't any such resource now and I am sure that many of the members would love to contribute their thoughts on these products.  Others would be looking for some guidance on where to spend their hard earned bucks or get the best results from their purchases and invested time.

I have seen the difference between a slick commercial/infomercial on some of these products and the content of the production.  Sometimes its very misleading as advertising sometimes does.

It would be nice to have some consumer feedback as well as industry analysis in this area.

Thanks,

Tom

I would like to see a thread for Birdie Balls. I just got some of these and was going to post my thoughts on them as a practice aid, and can't believe I couldn't find anywhere to comment on these. They are really remarkable.

I would like to see a review on video analysis software. At the moment I use Gasp but would be interested to hear how people find its competitors like c swing V1 swinger and dartfish?

Does anyone have experience with Swingbyte? There are several competitive products also available and I would be interested in knowing relative strengths and weakness of each. Thanks.

I'd like to hear peoples' opinion on The Perfect Putter.

I imagine that it works and has to help with reading putts, but are folks using it a month later?   Happy with the purchase overall?  etc...

Thanks!

We recently launched a new video practice aid to help live monitor your swing during practice at the range or at home.  The product is called "Live View Golf" and I would like to work with the GolfWrx staff to get a unit for your review on the site.  Who should I contact about this?  Our board of advisors includes Dave Phillips, founder of TPI and James Sieckman, author of "Your Short Game Solution".

I'd like to review my very positive experience with the Impact Snap Device.
