I lived for 18 years in metro Detroit, and now I go to college in Milwaukee.  It just reminds me how much I hate winter.

MAINE, 15 minutes north of Portland! Oh how I wish I was with my family in Louisana for Thanksgiving!! It is like the perfect place to live from June until Mid-September, but once winter hits, I am begging to be in warmer climate everyday, don't you wish the hole world was 75º and Sunny everyday!

I'll be down south soon enough!

Later boys, Bryan

Shoreview, MN one of the worst places to be in the winter if you're a golfer, one of the best to be if you love hockey like I do.

I feel you bro, in Maine, we can normally start golfing in late April, but the courses aren't even dried out until Late May into Early June :help: It's crazy to think that our greens up here don't even start rolling well until mid-June, but that's reality, and the season starts to fall downhill Mid-October :nono:

We only get 5 months of quality golf up here, which is kinda sad, but it's the way it goes, just go somewhere south when you go to college ;)

Sheboygan, Wisconsin. About 50 miles or so north of Milwaukee. Got a couple flakes of snow and all the courses decided to close, so the only golfing I'm doing is on some soccer fields by my house.

I'd be moving about half an hour south of you I think.

Golfing all year, its sorta like a long summer I guess.  Anyways right now its between 75-80 F as a high and not a cloud in the sky.  Coldest it gets is mid 60's.

Anyways there is one perk to moving to Ohio for me...  Snowmobiles... and lots of video games...  and a snow fort...  and skiing (aren't there mountains in eastern Ohio?)... ah crap now I realize how cold it is.

Just outside Sheffield in South Yorkshire, UK. Think Def Leppard. Actually, my home is on the outskirts of a branch of Sherwood Forest, so thinking Robin Hood would be more accurate I suppose. If anyone remembers the 1957 Ryder Cup at Lindrick.... The venue is about a two-minute drive away...

Fayetteville, NC about 1.5 hours south of Raleigh.  It's tough getting used to golf all year round.  I used to live in NW Indiana and deal with lake effect snow.

I could see that...I think the ONLY advantage about having snow in the winter is that it lets me really concentrate on acedemics from November until March, but that IS the only plus

I live in Mildura Australia, It's proberly the best place to live if your a golfer because the season is 12 months long. All you have to do is play in the afternoon in winter so the frost is of the greens and in the morning in summer because it get's pritty hot in the arvo.
