2007 Hyundai Azera - Can fit my Bag Boy EZ-Fold LX and 3 or 4 cart bags.

Used to drive my wife's Toyota Rav-4 and had to put the bag in sideways with the driver resting on the wheel well. When I got the cart I had to put the bag in the backseat because the cart was the only thing that could fit in the trunk. Not to mention that I looked ridiculous driving the car (6'3" 275).

I just joined this site, and this topic is what did it. It is funny that golfers will talk about anything, from wives, to... well do your clubs fit in your trunk. There's a first tee joke in there somewhere. Thanks for breaking a boring day because it's raining here, and well...can't play golf today

I also drive a Magnum. I fit my softball bag (which is almost as big as my golf bag) and my bag with plenty of room to spare. I call it my truck because of how much crap I haul in it.

I can fit three full-sized golf bags (w/ 45" drivers) in my '03 Acura TL-S, no problem. It's got a good-sized trunk, but pales in comparison to the trunk in my wife's '05 Camry. We can fit 2 suitcases, a Coleman cooler, and three golf bags in that trunk!

one bag in my Mustang Bullitt, but that is all that really needs to go in there. If I need to carry more then I just take my wifes car, Acura TSX

I've got a 2003 Honda Civic and I can fit 4 bags in there (then again, one of them is my sunday bag).

On a side note, does anyone have an Infiniti G35 or G37 Coupe and have any info on how many golf bags it'll hold? I'm looking to upgrade to one of those soon, most likely get a used G35 Coupe.

I can fit a dozen bags and carts easy.......drive a Nissan titan with a cap ;)
The good one is my buddy who drives a 350 Z convertable which has the smallest trunk i've ever seen, it does fit his golf gear but he has to remove driver, FW & hybrids. Fortunately the 350Z manual has instructios on how to fit your clubs in thye trunk

I can put 2 golf bags (both Ogio stand bags) and a pull cart in the trunk of my Nissan Altima SE-R. Alternatively, I've had two road bikes with their respective wheels, a floor pump, and riding gear in there before :)

after having a honda civic coupe, i bought the G35x... the price was good but the deal maker was that i actually fit 4 stand bags (drivers out) in the trunk along with some shoe bags and such...

as far as the usual goes, i fit my push cart (the one that folds up real small) and 2 cart bags easily without pulling drivers... but sometimes i do anyway because i'm paranoid about breaking the shaft...

I can get several sets of clubs in the back of my C6 vette. I wouldn't buy a car that couldn't hold at least 2 sets of clubs.

You flash git!

Most of that type of up-market sports car are deliberately designed so that a set of clubs will fit in the trunk. They had to change the design of the back of the most recent Jaguar XK for that reason, so the spoiler is now in the wrong place and apparently it makes the handling go funny at 140mph or so. I suppose thats important to somebody!

This thread has been an education to me. All you guys in the US who can't fit clubs in your cars!
Living over here you wouldn't think they sold cars in America with a boot (=trunk) that couldn't fit at least 4 tour bags (with drivers still in them of course), shoes, clothes, balls, pushcarts, practice net, coolbox, toolkit, BBQ, shotgun and 3 big dogs. And the corpse of an unfortunate drifter if you needed to.
I am pleased to have had my illusions shattered.
LOL

You should just cut down all your wood's and hybirds to the same length as your 7 iron. It would be cheaper than buying a new car, and you could just leave them in the bag when throwing them into your trunk. :clapping:

I have a 2006 Acura MDX. My clubs and my son's clubs can easily fit in the trunk with the 3rd row seat in use.

Yes I have no problem because I have a general rule of thumb and I will be glad to share my philosophy. When I car shop, I bring two golf bags with me. You know dats right! I've got a s500 and I can fit two bags comfortably.

I used to have a Vauxhall Corsa and did the same as you and put them on the back seat, but that died (or me and my brother killed it) and now we have a 3 door Yaris so it's back to the boot. We just keep one of the back seats down as we rarely have passengers in the back.

Nope. I just keep half of the back seat folded down in my little Ford Focus.

I have the Honda Ridgeline, the pickup with the In Bed Trunk adn mine fit in just fine, while in a Ogio Cart Bag. With some fiddling I can also fit my broken down push cart, Shoes, a Compressor, Tire chains and about 8 dozen golf balls!

Why would you need to carry chains for a Ridgeline? Aren't they all AWD?

Wait a minute. I can fit all of that in my ride and more... and it isn't near close to the bigger SUVs that are available. (c;

I have a MINI so no trunk, just "space." That said, fold down the rear "seats" and I have enough room for two bags, shoes and some tees, and maybe one hat. Perfect!

I can actually fit 3 stand bags without taking out the drivers/fairway woods/hybrids in my Porsche Cayman S. Although I've never needed to transport more than 2.
