Do you guys/gals have issues with putting your clubs in the trunk of your car? I have to take my driver and hybrids out of the bag to put them in the trunk of my car. This has lead to me becoming lazy and simply throwing them in the back seat. I noticed my rear seat was getting some scuffs so it looks like it's back to pulling out clubs and putting them all in the trunk. Anyone else have to remove their long clubs to put your bag in the trunk?

you should obviously put your car up in the BST. you're leaving space on the table.

I have the Honda Ridgeline, the pickup with the In Bed Trunk adn mine fit in just fine, while in a Ogio Cart Bag. With some fiddling I can also fit my broken down push cart, Shoes, a Compressor, Tire chains and about 8 dozen golf balls!

My car is a Cadillac CTS-v and I have Bag Boy cart bag. Three bags will fit in the trunk if I take out all the long clubs. I've never tried to put my bag in diagonally but perhaps it'll fit that way.

VW Golf certainly not meant for golf. Clubs do not fit in the hatch, I have one of the backseats folded down so I can slide the in that way.

750Li Beemer and right now I have 2 full stand bags (i've been going back and forth) without having to take anything out of my bag. I usually also have 2 or 3 other loose drivers in there, shoes, boxes of balls. When I bought it the sales guy did say it would fit 8 golf bags and that's probably not possible nor needed.

You can fit a golf bag in that thing without having to fold seats down? Because those cars look awefully small with no trunk space at all.

I can shoehorn 1 staff and 3 carry's into my LS460L....without pulling any drivers. It's a reasonably tight fit though.

I have a Mustang GT convertible and I can comfortably get in my clubs and a pair of spikes in the trunk. Surprisingly, the trunk is great for golf clubs and not much else.

BMW 325i and they fit but barely. You've got to put the bag diagonal and sometimes slightly bend the driver. One of these days I'm gonna get in a hurry and it will snap, I just know it.

Mine fit fine in a '92 Civic. I often put them on the back seat though. I usually pick my buddy up for golf since I can drive for 3 days on $10. I could fit both in the trunk but go with mine in there and his on the seat. Obviously I don't car about the back seat... if that car has more than a $100 repair, I'm pulling the plates and leaving it on the highway, lol.

I had a Dodge 2500 deisel before, that was horrible for transporting clubs. I bent a shaft with them in the bed and scratched up the glove box with them up front. My girl and I finally agreed that one car payment needed to go, just throwing money away, so I ditched mine and she kept her car. I bought the Civic for less than 1 payment and insurance was on the Dodge, not to mention the $$ to fill the tank once on the truck is 2 months worth of fuel in the Civic. Now my driver is worth more than my car though, lol.

I recently had an '04 VW Golf, and that car was a pain in the a** when it came to hauling the clubs around. Even more so when I was taking a friend or two in the car with me.

I now have a 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan, and I can fit my Mizuno staff bag, two pairs of shoes, my Sun Mountain speed cart, and a few other items in the trunk with ease. If I don't have the cart in there, I can fit two bags no problem.

I can get several sets of clubs in the back of my C6 vette. I wouldn't buy a car that couldn't hold at least 2 sets of clubs.

2007 Honda Civic (coupe)--just big enough for me, a couple of pairs of shoes, a few hats, and one set of clubs...the perfect ride, especially @ 32 MPG. :yahoo:

(Reading the post below...I should add that I actually did take my bag with me before purchasing the car. If the bag didn't fit, the deal was off.)

My Saab 9-3 was a very tight fit with my Ping Hoofer II bag. It would fit, but you had to kind of wedge it in there.

Most of the time, I laid it diagonally accross the trunk to get it to fit easily.

After that experience, I will always measure the trunk before I buy a car. I need to make sure I can get 2 bags or 1 bag plus a push cart.

Yep, everything in the in bed trunk... only 8.5 cubic feet but a useful shape.

I believe I can get one large 17 year old male and three golf bags (stand) in my '01 Taurus. Yes my buddy did get in willingly with the stuff, I should have taken pics.

I have no problems shoving my bag into back of my WRX. I could probably fit two but it would likely be pretty tight.

I've read the standardised test for a full sized luxury car is now three golf bags.

The one good thing about family wagons is that they eat golf bags, have a Ford Falcon and a Holden Commodore.

Any Aussies reading this will realise I sit on the fence come Bathurst (first weekend of October)....... can't wait.

I have trouble putting everything in my 06 Golf GTI. I have to put the rear seats down and take my driver and putter out of the bag if I want my cart and bag with me.

No problems with my Landcruiser, though.

Ditto on my audi a3, I can drop either half of the backseat and get both the clicgear cart and my Titty Japanese stand bag WITHOUT my driver and 3wd in my bag.

'07 Subaru Impreza WRX sedan, my carry bag drops in the trunk no problem. It is easy to get 2 bags in and i have had 4 in the trunk but needed to take the longer clubs out of 2 bags to get all 4 in. Had the car on an over night test drive in the middle of January, my neighbors thought I was nuts test fitting golf bags when the ground was covered in snow. My last car was a 98 VW GTI and that was a PITA for golf clubs, had to take out the driver to fit in the hatch and back seats needed to be down to fit more than one bag.

Thank goodness yes my clubs fit in the trunk.

If not I would have to give up the game . The wife will not allow them in the house she is way jealous of them.
