Those of you that are fans of this ball, what ball would you say it best compares to?

I have used Nike RZN Black, ProV, ProV1, Z Star, TM Tour Preferred, Hex Black and the FG Tour.  The FG Tour feels softer off the club than any of the other balls I have tried.  I can't see any appreciable difference in distance of the club.  Spin is great and comparable to any other premium 3 or 4 piece urethane covered ball.  It remains a great all round premium golf ball.

How does the new one compare to the original?
Still have 2-3 dozens of the original and may need to replenish by supply.

That's the previous model correct? A good price either way but just curious.

That's a great price on a great ball.  Jump that.

I feel like the current version is slightly firmer than the previous, but I could be wrong.

I've been trying the Urethane ball and the cover doesn't seem to last eighteen holes. It's not cut up or anything, it just looks like it is worn out. Are these FG's better?

I've noticed that the white of the cover dulls quicker than most, as per usual for Wilson tour balls, but this has no effect on playability.  I can cut up any ball in two holes if I hack at it the wrong way.  Thankfully, I played the same FG Tour for almost my entire round today, and that included a visit to two cart paths and a tree.  Played a found ProV1X for a couple of holes.  Higher launch, higher spin off the tee.  No bueno.

Durability check:  I knocked around the same 2017 FG Tour for 31 holes last week at Sand Valley and even though it saw plenty of action in the sand, it held up perfectly, save for normal Wilson dulling.  I'm teeing up the same ball next time I play.

Favorite ball ever.

Is the 2017 FG Tour availability still limited to green grass shops and direct order(s) from Wilson? I'm running low on my existing stock of FG Tours and need to replenish.

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure this is still the case.
