As noted in another thread, the term "Junior Gofer", spans a pretty wide range.  When you think of or some one says the term, what comes to your mind?  Good? Bad? What's your definition?

To me it's good and bad.  95% of junior golfers are good players, and nice guys.  Then there's the 5% that are spoiled brats that don't care about anyone else but themselves.  Most people notice the bad junior golfers, and just assume all kids are like that.

totally agree with the above posts, good or bad at golf, it's the junior's personality that makes or breaks the label all young golfers have.

In my experience, very little is worse than playing with the spoiled junior brat, although most of the juniors I play with are hardly spoiled brats, and tend to be pretty well mannered, and show a genuine love for the game.  Unfortunately, it is the small percentage that ruins it for everyone else.

When i play junior events it always seems there is an arrogant "hotshot" who is the kind of kid who walks around thinking everyone else is inferior and is usually very unfriendly

There is always one of these at every tournament that I play in.  The only problem is that they are usually the best players in the country.

Lol so true, when you play in AJGA's and theres one or two kids that just act like theyre better than the field and then it turns out they really are just that much better you almost wish that theyd lose their swing for a day of the tournament just to humble em a little bit.  sometimes its like they need to hear the saying that there is always someone better.
