Any thoughts? Is the "Light" version good enough for geographic regions that get only winter rains and for people like me that are not committed to playing tournaments in the rain.
I can get a "light" as part of a promotion through a club or chose something else. I don't currently own an actual golf rain jacket. The jacket retails for $180.
I like ZR, but I just don't have to play in the rain.

The light jacket will be more versatile for warmer weather and it has the same rain protection.
I have the actual Dry Joys jacket, and it's too thick for all but coldest days that I play. I thought I was really onto something when I bought this thing, but I usually walk and it's just way too thick to wear in any temps over low to mid 50's when golfing.
If you have the light jacket, you can still layer underneathe and be fine.
