The price at Ko Olina Golf Club was steep as this course seems to cater to a lot of the Japanese big spenders (the pro shop sells lots of very expensive Burberry clothings), but the course is so perfectly maintained that it was worth it. I wish that every course is so pristine, and the roll of your putts on the greens was so true that it seemed like we were putting on a carpet - but, beware of several of the "hidden" double breaks.
A superb resort course
, where some of the wide fairways helped a lot since my tee shot slices still sometime stayed on the edge of the fairway
The Roy's restaurant on the 18th hole is a nice touch for a nice dinner after the round, and the very beautiful AM&E souvenir putter cover ($25) is now on my road bag.
A must play!
Pic 1: 1st hole, a nice beginning
Pic 2: 12th hole, fairly short par 3 but with very tricky winds
Pic 3: 16th hole, with the waterfall behind you when you tee off
