I was playing the 59s for about 4 seasons and loved them.  Hit the mp15s and and 850 forged and ended up going with the forged.  Just wanted something more forgiving and I was surprised how how good they felt given the design.  Would agree the mp15s felt very nice as well.  Super solid on good contact.

I hit the MP4, MP15, JPX 850 Forged, and MP H5. I thought the MP15's were the best blend of forgiveness and playability in one. I'm not sure of what this clicky feel is that I'm reading on here. They can't be hitting them flush. They felt very close to the MP4's for me.

I'm totally with you on this. These irons feel fantastic. Used mine yesterday and the short irons are like throwing darts. Also they get through long grass better than my Ping's, this was really noticeable.
I kinds worried I may be making a mistake. I still have my MP59's while waiting on my I25's to arrive. I love th feel and sound the MP59's make. I was going to buy a set of 15's, but thought the I25's would be a better fit. I did a bounce grind on them so that should help some I hope.

Same here but for 2 seasons...but I'm thinking about hanging on to the 59's too.

Got mine yesterday and they simply make me want to hit golf balls at the expense of everything else, thankyou mizuno for such a beautifully made club.
100% satisfaction.

Hit these today and they are crazy pure. I currently game 63's and the feel/feedback are the same, except the misses on the 15's go just about the same distance as the pure ones (unlike my 63's). They are workable, forgiving, and have that great mizuno feel. The top line is a tad thick compared to my 63's but not too thick.

I can't decide whether I want to pick up a set of these or wait for the next cobra flow set.....

MP15's have an interesting feel when thinned.  All irons are abrupt when clipped a groove low, but these are brittle for lack of a better descriptor.  It's different.

I've had some various feels when testing them.  Brittle, pure, harsh, smooth.  I can't get my head around what ownership would be like.  But I'll give them kudos on perfect shots.  They felt great.

So is there a difference in terms of feel vs the mp59? From my experience I have never felt the clickiness which has been a term used to describe the 59's. Watching the Mark crossfield videos he seems to gush over the 15's even though he used the same terms to describe the 59's which he didn't seem to favor as much.

Have been hitting these more and while they are a lot more forgiving than my 63's and feel the same, I prefer the look of mine at address. They also don't offer c-tape in s+ which is what I currently game.

May try the vapor combos but am more than likely just going to wait on cobra.

The mp-64 and the mp-15 are my favorite cavity back irons. I'm ordering the 15s with the x flex c tapers. With that shaft and head combo, I gained about a club and a half of distance, launch went up, and dispersions got REALLY tight. I love the 15s.
That ball gave the wind the FINGER!

They look great at address. I did not find them to be much different than the MP59s. I think I like the looks of the cavity better in the MP59s. I would definitely game the MP15s if I was not happy with what I have. They might be a touch more forgiving than the MP64, but a bad shot with either one is still a bad shot. I would say they are less forgiving than the 714 AP2, maybe a little lower trajectory in general. Much cleaner looking than the PING i25, but not as forgiving.

I didn't really like the look of them with the demo cart iron, but saw a full set today and really liked the looks of them.  I don't think the demos always look the same.  I am trying to decide between the H5s, 15s, and AP2s at the moment.  Long irons in the H5s are huge.  Like everything about the 15s (used to have 59s), but a little worried about the forgiveness.  The AP2s, while more forgiving, are much larger in size.

i have demoed the MP 15's in store only and have been really liking the look and their feel with the Nippon 1150 in stiff. Then i have been hitting my son's 2013 x forged with 6.0 PXi shafts this week at the range and i must say they are great sticks and other than a few fatties... i hit them as pure as i have ever hit any iron... Any thoughts on the 2013 X forged VS the MP 15's?

Ordered set of mp15/54 2 days ago...mp15 is exactly the mp64 with more forgiveness....feel prolly not quite as good but still very good....I like 15 better than 59 because it is mp64 head and sole shape...which is one of best out there and it feels slightly better than 59 and is lil more forgiving. ...All pluses over 59....and I did like mp59.....i gamed mp59 for 6 months and mp54 for over a year, 54 short irons really bugged me...Their size was kinda clunky to me....so whateves well see, I am sure these will be good..... got nippons for no up charge with is good......almost went with mp4/54 combo but mb irons can be tough on off days and if your not playin alot....so lil insurance policy if I am off...lok

yeah here is thought....pick one, lol

Seriously not really gonna matter much...very similar so whateves.....nothing gna sway either one other than your own preference.....I am mizzy guy so its easy for me....I ordered 1150 shafts in mine coincidentally. ...and i am not a huge pxi shaft fan either....have a set of pxi 6.0 sitting in garage collecting dust

What is it about the Nippon 1150 tour shaft? Better yet... Why have I not given Nippon any love before now? It's like beer... Makes everything better. I am sure the shaft is a big reason as to why I hit the 15's so good in the sim.

shaft is the biggest factor in clubs...get right shaft and it will work in most everything, get wrong one and you prolly wont like any head......nippon has some of tightest tolerances in industry and are long known as great feeling shafts, its just new to you, lol

Can't compare the 2013 to the X forged but can compare them to the MP64s which are close.  Summary:  Very close in appearance at address and in performance.  I had a difficult time deciding between the two, which surprised me since I'm a mizzy fan.  Callaway makes some excellent irons, can't go wrong with either.  I'll probably continue to buy Mizuno, though.

i am right on the fence here... one side says mizuno... the other callaway... i am really liking the new mizuno irons this year... and i have my eye on a set of x forged... can't decide right now... my wife loves the look of the 2013 x forged... lol cause they are 500 bucks less than the MP15's right now.

I had no intention of hitting the 2013 xforged, and somewhat missed the whole wave when they came out, etc.  I have hit a lot of irons over the years, and I would put these up in the feel vs. forgiveness category on damn near anything.  I picked a set up new on a whim, and I've been really surprised how good they are.  The PXi fits me okay, albeit a little light as I have been DG X100 forever.

I've been playing the 64s since they came out, just picked up the 15s. IMO the 15s aren't as soft, launch higher and are about the same forgiveness....

So much back and forth on the soft, not soft lol. I personally feel that these irons feel fantastic. I have gamed the 58 and 64 in the past and really liked the 59's but never pulled the trigger. I've been bouncing around different iron sets but I've finally come to the conclusion that I should just stick with Mizuno.

Tested these out today but not with different shafts. Definitely going to have to check these out tomorrow with as many shaft combinations as I can. First impression, really like these.

I checked them out again today along with the 850 forged, the other set I am contemplating.  850s just look too big to my eye.  Might give the 15s a go.

i have demoed the MP 15's in store only and have been really liking the look and their feel with the Nippon 1150 in stiff. Then i have been hitting my son's 2013 x forged with 6.0 PXi shafts this week at the range and i must say they are great sticks and other than a few fatties... i hit them as pure as i have ever hit any iron... Any thoughts on the 2013 X forged VS the MP 15's?

The PXi fits me okay, albeit a little light as I have been DG X100 forever.
my decision has been made... played with my son's 2013 x forged irons today... very surprised how solid i hit them... also surprised by the mid to high ball flight... they felt very stable... Highlighted by a 180 yard ( downwind ) ace with a 7 iron... love the mp 15's however my first ace justifies buying a new set of x forged.

Congrats on your first ace ... I can see where that would clinch the deal ... sure would for me.  But, like you said, the mp 15s are really nice also.
