got both the 3 and 5 bul since the bty wasn't available yet. both very easy to hit mid high trajectory although the shaft feels a little light and whippy to me. If I get real quick with it a snap hook is usually the result. Both are easy to hit off the tee and the turf. Once the golf season is over I'll be looking to get it reshafted. overall though pretty good club.

Which shaft are you referring to?  They offer some stock Aldila "Made for Adams" shaft and the ProLaunch Red.  I chose the latter. Should arrive tomorrow.  (GIDDY!)

at the time of purchase they only had the aldila, I inquired about the prolaunch red and Adams told them they were behind on getting these shaft out so I ended up getting the stock shaft, being impatient and needing a 3 wood. Plus at the time with the purchase I got a dz of any balls I wanted, so I got a dz of prov's and a dz of hx tours :beach: good luck with your club.

I just got the 3 wood about a week ago with the ProLaunch Red, probably one of the best fairway woods that I have ever played with.  This is a great club.  I will report back later, after the honeymoon period has worn off, but I think this one may be in my bag for awhile.

I got a 3-wood with the PL red, I don't really care for the shaft, seems really soft and with very little control, doesn't inspire confidence. It also plays a little longer than standard and am planning on either pull the shaft and tipping it 1/2" or replacing the shaft all together. The head seems really long on the range when though and the ball flight is nice and high and really feels like a nice head.

I enjoy playing golf from the back tees, with the younger players,  when invited, (like today), and my Adams insight BUL 3 wood,  is the club that gets me near , or on the green, when they are hitting irons in,  after outdriving me.  At 68 years, this 3 wood is like a 3Iron used to be. :drinks: .LOL.
I like the 55 gram A flex shaft.  Great FW wood!

wow!

i picked up a 3 wood last night with a NV proto 60 s. I hit it at the range pretty well last night but when i put it into play today i loved it. Only bad shots i hit with it were all my fault, but i used it in place of the driver today and im in love.

The club has a great responsive feel to it, very easy to hit, and the sound just makes you feel like you hit a bomb. I was getting it up the fairway no problem today. Dead straight every time, like i said, im in love.

What a great club! This thing is stupid easy to hit off of the deck and this is coming from a guy who always dreaded hitting a 3 wood. Titanium cup face has an awesome feel and sound and the sole design gave me great results from questionable lies. At $40 shipped I feel like I've made one of my best golf purchases to date. Don't let the ads fool you this club is no where near as big as one might think.  It is about the same size as the Ping G10 and only fractionally larger than the BTY. When I held the BTY and BUL side by side the biggest difference I could see was that the BUL has a much larger face area than the BTY. The rest of the club was about the same size. BUL has a fairly compact head and shallow face. Only thing I would change about it is the Stock aldila shaft which gives me a wider dispersion than I would like but it will hold up for now. This club is money and will be my gamer for a very long time.

Bought this club over the winter and hit it a few times at the indoor range, finally took it out and played a round with it yesterday and WOW. People say BUL stands for Big Ugly Long but I really like the look of the head and it doesn't look big to me at all. This thing is long though and super easy to hit from the deck, I mean stupid easy. I have been known to chunk a few shots but this thing just took off like a rocket. It is a pretty straight club also. I usually have a fade to my wood shots but this made them go straight as an arrow, only once did I fade one wiht a bad hit but to no fault of the club.

This club is great and for the price they are going for on ebay a great buy. Now if I only could find a 5 wood in regular flex just as cheap.

Saw a great deal for this club (3w 15*, aldila speedline stiff).
Anybody else with info on how it hits off the deck & from the tee?
Thanks in advance

i only use mine off the deck but it is super easy to hit. I am actually going to get an NVS shaft to put into it and see what happens. This thing takes off though very hot face.

It is very forgiving in my experience, I am a 14 handicap so I don't hit the ball square every time by any means but it still gets good distance and relatively still straight. Hit it on the screws and it will get up and GO. I am not much for working the ball, straight is what I look for but I can get it to fade if I need it to. If you are more worried about working the ball over the forgiveness the BTY would be the way to go imho.

ultra forgiving and pretty workable, haven't tried to hit it low though. 10 yards in either direction is really all i need at this point. This club and my hybrid are tied for funnest to hit. The titanium cup face feels awesome! When i nail it on the screws the face explodes like a driver and I get a little extra distance then average. This could potentially cause distance control problems but usually when I've got 3 wood in my hands I'm trying to get it out there as far as possible and not hit a particular yardage. Just as easy from the tee as the fairway but tee it low because the face is pretty shallow which I like in a FW. I don't see this club ever coming out of the bag so I should probably stock up  . It's way better in my opinion then adams current fairway/hybrids or anything else on the market.

One of the best fwy woods I've ever hit. Ball rockets off the face. 5 stars. Honestly surprised this club didn't get more press.
