Unlike the men, the women were difficult to rank. I'm not going to lie here and admit my decisions were based soley on fashion. Looks were also factored in...and at times factored in alot depending on the pictures I've seen....Women definately have it more difficult because they have more pressure to be creative, while men...well if their straight...don't really care that much. Please don't read into the last statement too much....it's only an opinion...i've noticed during my short time here...that the sensitivity meter is quite high at times. Anyhow I tip my hat off to the women golfers out there because they definately have it tougher and overall do a much better job dressing up for golf than the men. I wish I could put more pictures up....but I think these should be entertaining enough.
Best Dressed
1. Natalie Gulbis - We men, err golfers are blessed to witness such a talented female golfer in the 21st century. It would've been a shame to have to watch her in play in the 1920's in a full dress with socks. Nobody in the LPGA looks better in non-shorts on and off the golf course, as witnessed in many of the fabulous publications available featuring her pictures in golfwear, casualwear, and other wear.
2. Michelle Wie - Nike has done a great job of making her older than she looks. She's always dressed in great colors and her variety is always a treat....Her 18th Birthday may become just as celebrated as Anna Kournikovas to many college boys.... btw...I think she's trying tell those same people something in this picture.
3. Paula Creamer - A daring player and dresser she's always aiming to please herself and at times several hundreds of lonely teenagers.
4. Christie Kerr - A classy golfer and even classier dresser. I don't know many people who don't appreciate her style and the way she carrys herself.
5. Grace Park - One of the first flagship Nike Female product on the LPGA. She definately increased the amount of sex appeal in woman's golf wear.
Worst Dressed
1. Christina Kim - Wearing tight forming clothes is a privilege not a right, 10 dollars to the person who can come up with the number of matching hats and tops she has. I feel sorry for the person at the other end of that fist pump.
2. Pat Hurst - Without saying something mean...I'm going to let this picture represent my opinion.
3. Se Ri Pak - Her sponsers have probably never sold a piece of golf clothing yet. Se Ri Pak has bad colors, patterns, clothes etc. Did you guys see that table cloth and tuxedo she was wearing in the last tourney? I'm proud of my Korean heritage but I will not condone this type of self - deprecation. Maybe it's a strategy to color blind the competition...Them Koreans are quite sneaky at times.
4. Laura Davies - She's gutsy and one of the most successful female golfers in the LPGA. But on this list...she's not very competitive. Why? Her vests, oversized shorts and linebacker shoulders are not kind to her fashion.
5. Tie - Sergio Garcia & Ian Poulter - That's right.....These two make the worst list in both genders....why? because I can....and want to emphasize that nobody, especially amatuers should be emulating these two on the golf course...Course marshals should have a catalog of their summer collections so they know who to escort back to the parking lot.
Gotta go with best dressed Creamer and Gulbis! Wie's skirts are too short(but I dont turn away) and Kim has nice sense of fashion but should loose 25-35 lbs before wearing those outfits.
For overall function & style...Annika wins hands down, always matching in functional, smart, properly fitted outfits with matching shoes. Christie Kerr fits this mold also so I'll giver her runner-up. My daughter's favorites are of course her "fashion girls" Paula Creamer and Morgan Pressel (her favorite golfer overall), must be the incognito "heiress" shades they wear...lol. Who is the worst dressed is a tough call since their is so much competition, obviously the ez digs are at the heavier ladies, but that's their fault if for the amount of money they make combined with the free garb they can't come up with something more flattering to their forms. I would have to say that Jeong Jang with her too-short shorts (and no bottom to go with them...hard to say which offends more...lol)combined with her beer-belly-exposing too-short shirts pretty much take the category. I sincerely hope that the next time she T.C. Chen's one out of the high rough and pulls a Bill Clinton when confronted about it that she is better dressed to spare us watching while the "drama" of how do you say "plausible deniability" in Hangul (Korean) unfolds...lol...J
PS-Love the Ian Poulter reference...nice hair dude...lol...J

I'm with you on Jeong Jang. Who wants to see "muffin tops" while watching golf?
Jennifer Rosales is one of my favorites but I think her fashion sense off the course (pic) is much much better than on. It's a bit too grunge sportif for the LPGA tour.
1. Ian Poulter
2. Tiger Woods
3. Eric Axley/Camillo Villegas/Stuart Applebye
Worst dressed male golfers:
1. Duffy Waldorf
2. Tim Heron
3. Jim Furyk
Sergio looks like a clown from a Mcdonald commercial when he's wearing these matching/no so matching colored outfits, but sometimes he actually gets it right and when he does, he's one of the best dressed golfers bar none on the tour. If he knew how to mix the colors a bit better, he would be in my top 3 over the best dressed male golfers. BTW I'm a HUGE Sergio fan and hope he wins the Open next year
Well I do watch a lot of LPGA golf... as for who's the best dressed:
1. Natalie Gulbis - And now that she's got a win, she is even more marketable than ever.
2. Paula Creamer - Other than Natalie, the most easily recognizable golfer on the tour today.
3. Cristie Kerr - She indeed has come a long ways... I think being a friend of Natalie's has helped with her fashion sense.
4. Morgan Pressel - Usually simply stated clothes which very well fit her image...
As for worst dressed, I'll just leave that to others to comment about...
You're forgetting JJ Henry...if I see one more guy with man-teats wearing a tight, iridescent mock turtle neck I'm going to shoot myself.
And Paul Creamer should not even be considered in the top 10 for best dressed golfers...She takes her love for pink WAAAAAAAAAAY too far. Especially that sickly shade of T-mobile fuschia-pink.
Gulbis is trailer trash with money...her skirts (and Michelle Wie's for that matter) are STUPID short. I don't mind Christina Kim's style; it's fun and she's a little overweight but at least she tries to dress cute.
Christie Kerr and Anna Rawson...that's where it's at! Classy and well dressed without looking like a whore

The pink is Paula's image... it's what she's known for... Thanks to her sense of style (next to Natalie), she's the most recognizable face on the tour.

That's a little much... Natalie's skirts may be short sometimes, but at least she looks good in them. The same can't be said for Wie, however.

I definitely agree with you there... Christina indeed has fashion sense, and although her clothes don't always flatter her figure, at least she tries to be stylish. She's going to be a great player someday IMHO, and with her bubbly personality she definitely is going to develop a big fan base.

I agree about Christie. As for Anna, I don't agree. To me, she's simply eye candy, and not much more at this point... and at least one of those pics of her in her thread is a little beyond racy. It would be nice if she actually had a few significant finishes in tour events...
Natalie Gulbis wears more mascara than Alice Cooper...that's the MAIN reason I think she always looks like trash. Anna Rawson is also a model, that's what those "racy" pics are from, but on the golf course she's always dressed well and stylish.
I have the same problem with the men's tour...well, maybe a different "problem". The Tabasco line of clothing should be outlawed on the tour! I love Woody Austin and his attitude towards Tiger etc., but those are the ugliest shirts I've EVER seen. And mock turtle necks ARE NOT GOLF APPROPRIATE ATTIRE! Not even Tiger can pull it off all the time and he's the fittest on tour! He looked like a damn Chip 'n' Dales dancer at the US Open on Sunday. The trickle down effect is that the beer bellied, jeans on the course golfers of the world now think they can wear these and look good: WRONG!

One too many golf commercials with Natalie and Alice in them for you perhaps???
Aren't girls are supposed to wear make-up??? On the whole, the players look a lot more stylish now than they did a few years ago and I think Natalie has a lot to do with it.
In sporting world terms, Anna Rawson really is nothing more than the golf equivalent of Anna Kournikova at this point. She has 3 top 10 finishes in her career to date... Yes, she does dress nicely from what I see... definitely stylish. And at 26, she does have time to improve and perhaps become much better known for her sports achievements than that other Anna. One thing a lot of men may not know about her is that she's quite intelligent as witnessed by her 3.4 GPA she carried at USC.
