Please excuse me if this is already posted, but I've seen a lot of posts asking what is your favorite Cameron, or what is the best Scotty putter you've owned. I haven't seen any asking what their first Cameron putter is.  So what was your first Scotty Cameron putter ? Where is it now ?

Golo S, 34" with 25g weights

Newport Oil Can.  I picked it up brand new in either 98 or 99...I think 98.  Still have it.  I cut a site line into the top line about 10 years ago.  I should probably just sell it.

I just sold a couple of those.  Depending on what shape it's in you could get a decent amount back for it

As soon as my scratch irons and wedges get in tomorrow, I'm seeing a BST thread in my future.

It's not in great shape, but I'm never going to use it again. No real reason for me to have all of these clubs laying around.

...MY GOD WHAT AM I SAYING!?

LMAO, yep, this, lol

I also have a Mizzy that an asst. told me was Scotty's work, but who the hell knows, I just kept it cuz, well, I got a hard time gettin rid of any club, especially a putter, lol.

My ex GF, herself a club Pro said that I have a serious hoarding issue, lol

And no, that had nothing to do with her being an ex-

That's on me ;)

Have a great week-end,
Richard

WoW, you got much bigger stones than I my Friend :)

I've got the 340gr T version, though I'd take the 350gr in a heartbeat-

THAT is a fine instrument!

Oh well, in the end, it's just a piece of metal ;)

Have a great season My Friend :)

Richard

Pro platinum Newport 2. Got it as a high school graduation gift from my parents. I still game it every now and then. For some reason I putt with it better than my Method 001 when the greens are slower.

For me it was an early 2000's Studio Stainless Newport 2. It was a great looking putter, but at 330g head weight, it just proved too light for me. When the Studio Selects came along with the ability to add head weight, it was a great help. The Kombi-s was my first foray into high MOI, odd head shaped putters. At this point, the top of the heap for me in terms of performance is the Futura X, although I do have a Newport 2 on speed dial ready to go back in play at a a moments notice! :)

I've never owned a Cameron putter. I have tried many of them, though. What I have concluded is that for the money, they are incredibly unremarkable putters with performance similar to many much less expensive, similar equipment.  And frankly, I like my current putter too much to ever think of changing it for anything else......

So why post in a thread that asks "what was your first Scotty Cameron putter"?

Never mind..............I already know.

Haters everywhere.

Studio Design 1.5 that has been gone a good long while.  I have owned several Scotty's that have been loved for a time and let go when they forgot how to put the ball in the hole.  Only one I still have is my Futura Phantom, and that's only because it got no bids on the Bay.
