Picked up these irons and bag today.
Mizuno mp59, dynamic golf sl s300 shafts, mp t11 wedges 52,56,60 same shafts. And an old Ping L8 bag. Got the irons for 250 in great shape. Some minimal surface rust in the cavities. But should clean up. Gotta get the shafts cut down an inch and get those huge MCC midsize plus 4s off of them and they will replace my j36s and Adams wedges. Also toying with the idea of making the 52 1 strong and 60 1 weak to make the gapping better since it's a 46 pw. The bag will be my light duty carry bag for when I play at my dad's home course. Which I only need around 7-8 clubs to play.

Nice. Those T-11s are great wedges. I used to have a 50, 54, and 58, but that 60* looks tasty.

thanks man. I just hope the low bounce doesn't effect me to much. I'm pretty steep with my wedges. But most of the courses are playing firm right now. Also these shafts hit really high compared to the px 6.0 flighted. Will definitely take some getting used to. Will do a side by side when I get them back.

I did struggle with the 58* in bunkers with fine dry sand, as I needed a wider sole. However, the 56 and especially the 60* look to have a wider sole from what I remember (did I mention I really, really like the look of that 60*? :) ).

The 50*, 52* (I also had a 52*, which I had forgotten about), and the 54* were all great performers for me, and in fact I think the 54* was the best 54* wedge I have played. Great on full shots, and also easy to chip with.
I'm pretty steep as well, but I don't recall having a problem with those wedges in firm conditions.

Yeah, don't worry about a low bounce LW on the wet coast. I used to have a Vokey 6004 playing just north of you. And, I probably had the steepest attack angle of anyone. Just try to have a higher bounce option in the bag along with it.

Actually, you live close to one of my favorite courses, I'll likely never get to play again, Meridian Valley CC. Ever play there?

Just got this hybrid from a local shop here in DFW.  They had it on ebay, and I actually work 15 minutes from the shop, so I drove there to buy it directly and look at it.  I've wanted an 18-20* smaller profile hybrid for windier days here in the DFW area.  I've tried Driving Irons, and just realized that I'm more consistent with the hybrids.  I actually have a steel shafted version of this same hybrid in 23* loft.

I know nothing about the Penley shaft in it, but I figure for the price, I'll give it a shot.  It was only $30...I have another shaft at home that I can swap out if I need to.  I normally play a stiff flex shaft, so I'm unsure about the X flex.

After my pickups last weekend, was in need of some grip tape to install the grips on the MP-64s and BB Warbird S2H2. None available locally so took a drive again (still cheaper than the shipping costs).

To round out my second set, picked up a Titleist 975F 13.5* with the green EI70 stiff shaft and an Adams Super DHy Proto 24* with a stiff steel shaft.

Been an unexpectedly expensive month, but built a nice second set, and looking forward to the summer and the rest of the year!

I also had PXG GEN1 extreme dark irons, so.........

ALL black finishes will wear off in time depending upon the use.  Lots of range time with sandy turf...bye, bye quickly.
The PXG DLC (diamond like coating) is very durable....I hit range balls but off soft mats.

Of course talking about face only as the rest of the club is fine.
