I typically use generic head covers on my woods.  After many years I use really old stock head covers from long departed woods because nobody would steal them.

A Big Bertha head cover on my Rapture V2 3 wood, or a Heaven Wood head cover on my HiBore 2 hybrid.  My HiBore XL 2 wood, Diablo Edge & G15 head covers are still brand new!

I have Ju Ju's  on the woods and hybrids in Air Force blue and silver . I have a custom putter cover from Delilah with the Air Force logo and my name on the other side. I do have another putter and I leave the Piretti cover on it.

I recently replaced my stock head covers just because my driver cover was old and worn and I lost a hybrid cover. I ended up buying some pretty cheap wool ones and color coated them to know which club they were without having to look at the number tags. I never even thought about theives using the stock ones as targets! Glad I read this, I'll probably stick to aftermarket going forward.

I use aftermarket head covers that represent my hometowns Sports teams. To me it is easier and they fit all my clubs and no advertisement.

I like to have one aftermarket cover in my bag just to mix things up a bit. I used to take the Titleist 975 fairway woods headcovers and flip them inside out because of the cool colors they had but I haven't rocked that in a while...maybe it's time to bring it back?

Never use stock. Keep them for trade, or sell in the future whenever I upgrade club. I use sock style Old Skool covers. Look great, and easy to take off. And I never use my "Scotty" putter cover, I rotate 7 different novelty covers, depending on what color I wear that day.

I change head covers a lot, but usually have a mix of aftermarket, club-specific OEM, and non-specific OEM... right now I have the OEM Epic cover on my driver and non-specific white Callaway poms on my fairway and hybrid.  I also have non-specific black/lime Callaway covers coming for the fairway/hybrid, so we'll see which I end up liking better.  Also have Hot-Z Diamond leather-like covers coming as a third option.  Putter is the non-specific '17 camo/green Odyssey cover for mallets and will be a matching Hot-Z Diamond for heel-toe.

For my walking/backup bag I have an elephant puppet (actual puppet, not meant to be a head cover) on my mini driver navy/white/royal american flag poms on the fairway & hybrid.  Putter will be the Hot-Z for heel-toe or OEM Odyssey for mallet.

My travel/#3 bag I have OEM 910D/F/H and White Smoke covers... though that bag only gets used 2-3 times a year and the value is pretty low if something were to be stolen.

The camo isn't nearly as prominent in outdoor light, but it's exaggerated a bit by the camera flash.

I always use my Scotty Cameron Custom Shop head cover... just really like the look. I go back & forth between my OEM Ping G30 and custom leather head covers for driver, fairway woods, and hybrids. The OEM head covers offer more protection when I travel.

Bestgrips.com custom headcovers, generally.  Done with knit after destroying 100s of $$ worth.

https://bestgrips.co...rs/drivershoes/

As homie says above, first time someone steals your putter is the last time you'll ever advertise for an OEM.

I use both. The EPIC cover was just to EPICALLY ugly to keep on the driver so it replaced with a nice Stitch natural leather cover. The cover on my SC Khombi S is bulky with velcro. Replaced with a more suitable cover with a magnetic latch. I use a normal SC cover on my Newport when I game it, but I keep and eye on it. I will probably replace that as well if I game it all the time.

My wife just put a Craftsman Headcover on her driver and loves it.
