Any "righties" putty on the other side?

Ok,

I have always putted on the left hand side of the ball growing up (playing putt-putt), but I'm right handed at everything else. When I first started really playing golf at age 25, some of the more experienced golfers I played with gave me hell about it, so being a newbie I caved to the pressure and switched to a right handed putter. I have never been comfortable with it. I think I am extremely right eye dominant, and I just see the line better from the left hand side. I really feel like if I was coordinated enough, I would be a better golfer from the left hand side, but I'm not brave enough (nor do I have the money to burn) to really try it. BUT, I have recently decided that the protagonists can stick it in their ear, I'm switching back to putting left handed and hopefully will be making more putts on a consistent basis. I just traded a few clubs in at my local golf store for an Oddyssey White Hot XG # 3. I rolled in about 15 of 20 balls from different distances with this baby. I like the feel a lot. My right handed gamer is a YES!Donna. I love the YES! putters, but man they are expensive. I will have to wait for my left handed Donna or one of her fair sisters. Thanks for listening to my rant/epiphany! Let the discussion begin.

Hi everyone

I've been working on this putter with LaMont for over 4 months now and its finally close to finishing . It's a modified weavers needle with a twisted neck and I chose the raw torch'd finish to go along with it. So we were all set and done with the original finish which was a deep sapphire blue with hints of purple and the heat caused the letters to change gold with no paintfill...and I fell in love! Unfortunately...a small boo boo happened and the putter had to be refinished to accommodate the small change...essentially, the finish has changed especially the toe area which has more of a blueish grey fade now instead of the deep sapphire and purples...so with that long story, can I get some of your opinions on the new finish? whether I should have it refinished again or whether the first finish is loads better than the older one...any feedback is great and thanks again!

Switched from mallet to blade

So I have been using different mallet style putters for the last few years and finally switched to a blade putter. I am now putting better than I ever have. The blade just fits my eye and I set up so much better with the plumbers neck. Just thought I would share my experience.
Thanks!
