Best glove for me is the one I was born with. I like the feeling of my skin directly on the grip.

I'm sure I've posted in this thread but I have to say again...the Wilson Staff Pro Soft is the best glove I've ever used. Very thin and soft and the fit is perfect. Even after a season of use (I usually rotate 2-3 gloves) I can slide my hand in and it's fits great: no stretching or bunching up. They are harder to find but gppgolf.com has them so I'm set.

Just behind the Pro Soft is the Ping M-Fit. Excellent fit and feel as well.

SciFlex here

Fits and I like the ability to change colors

Bionic glove....lasts forever and great for hands clapping.gif
golfdad907
Bionic last longest and is very comfortable. SciFlex is pretty good. Picked up new Adidas AG3 (something like that) for summer, full microperf leather and CoolMax will see how hold up

Located Fit-39 webiste, no ML, do those who have used them buy Med or Large? Thanks.

the footjoy StaSoft is great for the first 10 rounds or so.. very tacky overall its great
RunOfTheDill

Baycal92510

Foot-Joy Gloves are the most over-hyped product in golf! I use to sell a line of golf gloves from a major manufacture that didn't have the marketing power or appeal like FJ. Although the gloves I sold were far better, and I would buy the competitive model FJ Gloves to have the buyer/pro compare against it. I sold a higher quality line of gloves with better materials (much better margin than FJ) and a better fit. Although buyers/pros almost had to have at least one FJ Glove due to the consumer demand they played and tried to sell mine. Try the compariable FJ models to that of a name brand competitor and feel the difference for yourself and save some $ in the process.

The best gloves are the ones I can get PUD or free. FootJoy, Taylor, Wilson, Mizuno, it doesn't matter.

I prefer the Mizzy Skintite. There's a new rep for our area, hope he is as generous as the last one. yes.gif

Footjoy StaSoft is great!

Also I like the new TM Burner gloves, but wish they were a bit more durable...

The new Taylor Made Targa Tour glove is the most comfortable glove I have ever worn. It has micro ventilation holes and is moisture wicking.
JAF3
Currently using the Taylor Made R7 Tour, absolutely love it.

Very soft, extremely comfortable, great tackiness and pretty solid durability. Just an all around great fit for my banana hands...

Srixon gloves are by far the best for me; my pro-like grip wears a hole in the butt end of everyother glove in about 2 rounds of use, but not Srixon. They have good feel as well.

The new Nike series has about the worst durability ever, one round in the rain, and i had a huge hole in the thumb, my Titleist players has had about 10 in the rain, and my etonic practice glove has hit thousands of balls and probably had about 30 in the rain
Tammsalu
Stasof!!!! R7 Tp is my second pick. The players wears out to quickly
steeler4life
Best glove, period. Super durable, great feel and grip.

elmaestro
Both the titleist players glove and the StaSoft are great. I hate how they wear though.
Currently using r7 tour thanks to the grace of a TM rep. They're really good too.
mljones99
I just bought one of the Under Armour Heat Gear gloves. I tried it on in the store and it fit perfectly. I hope it holds up well once I get to try it on the course.
duker51
The New TM Targa Tour glove. It's just the best I've ever used. You have to go down one size, they run a bit big for the size marked. I wear XL Cadet, but went with Large Cadet with these.

never seen those. id like to try one..where can you get em?

Anyone use the Footjoy rain gloves? They are supposed to grip better when wet.
I have a couple of golf outings next week and I think my nice weather luck will be running out.
markheardjr
Footjoy used to make a glove that had graphite or titanium in the leather on the palm and fingers, the glove felt awesome and lasted forever. They stopped selling them because they lasted so long. I think I had one like 3 years ago. Anyone remember them? I still see one once in a while, but they are always like a Lady's medium or something ridiculously small.

callaway warbirds just dont wear out.... plus it comes in a 2 pack.

Best golf glove for me is the one that fits the best!
Not too picky about brands in golf glove. With the small hands that I got, I can't be too choosy, although, feeling wise, I got an old Titleist Player's glove that feels extremely soft.
JeffG_02
Like I posted earlier, SMT Golf Glove..100% leather, lifetime replacements..no questions asked.

I just mailed off 3 sweaty/worn out gloves the other day w/ a check for $9.50 for the return fee, should get three spanking new gloves in the mail soon.
xdhammerbx
been playing the dri fit tour for almost a year now... lasts long.. tacky... wat else do you need!? about to buy my third glove so that tells you how well its held up! ive yet to have it rip so no complaints here!

second would be the sciflex for overall support and tackiness

I have a pair of these, they're great. They seem to be holding up pretty well too. This will be my 3rd season with the same pair.

I could care less about a glove for the rain, especially one for both hands, but my question is this: do they perform well if your hands perspire a lot? When the weather gets above 90* my hands sweat so much that my gloves are constantly soaked and I can barley hang on to the club even with cord grips.

I can't answer that. Usually when it's that hot, I'm wearing my normal glove. The Footjoy Raingrips I have are a slightly thicker material than cabretta, so I think they'd be very uncomfortable in hot weather.

The Under Armour Heat Gear golves have hands down beaten everything else I have used. I was loyal to footjoy and Titleist until I found the Edwin Watts Perma Soft golves at 1/3rd the cost of Titleist (and they are made in the same factory!!). I picked up 2 UA gloves to try and they just seemed to last and last, not to mention that I didn't seem to get them as sweatty as the others (more breathable maybe?). Definately worth a look. You can get them at Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy or online from Under Armour directly.

My favorite is the new Adidas Lethal XT. It has a very breathable top so moisture can get out. ...with a smooth inner hand. Great feel, pretty durable, looks cool. (there are different colors, more to come too)
DBake
Best bang for the buck with a big name is the Titleist Perma-Tech, period.

I like! (it looks cool & to top it off, different than your traditional looking golf glove!)

If any of you all have a Sam's Club close by they sell Tommy Armour Tournament Player's gloves. They come in a two pack for about 14 bucks. I used to use the Nike Elite feel and they changed them. Those Tommy's are great, a nice player's glove at a great price.

I've used the FJ WeatherSof for a while now. For Father's Day I got a Martin's gift card, so I picked up a Mizuno Skintite to try. 1st round was very comfortable with it...seemed better than my WeatherSof.
Thought I'd update this post...The Mizuno was total crap. Lasted no time at all. I will not buy another one. Went back to WeatherSof, even got a 2 pack for $14.

I am glad I stocked up on Footjoy Spider. Best ever. The graphite enhanced made them very durable yet still soft and supple. Why did Footjoy stop making them???
sukbak
Hands down...Ping M-Fit. Great fit and feel, and keeps shape and lasts longer than the Players or TM R7. I am certain most on here have not tried it. Pick one up, you won't be dissapointed.

man i loved those spider gloves, i should have stock up big time. they probably stopped making em' because they lasted too long. no doubt they were the most durable i have ever used.

I prefer the StaSof the majority of the time. I also tried a FJ StingStopper on a whim at Golf Galaxy one day. This glove feels like an old Franklin batting glove, for those who remember what that felt like. As a former baseball player, it brought back sweet memories when I used it. Surprisingly it lasted a long time. It was thicker than my trusty StaSof though!

Mizuno makes a pretty good glove. They fit me right. Every time I've tried a Nike glove in the past, the fingers are too long no matter what size I try. Guess it's just me....

i like the new tm tour targas.

also walter hagon from dicks is ok.
