A couple people I know are going to Vegas, and are going to golf for the first time, and don't know where to go. I was wondering if any of you could recommend a course for them.

It should be close to the strip, be beginner-friendly, and money is no object.

I wouldn't be sending new golfers to the high end courses, because they are not beginnner friendly. I would strongly suggest going to either the Callaway Center and start on the Par 3 course or take a trip to Durango Hills which is a Par 54 course that combines Par 3's and Par 4's. It's about a 20-minute drive from the strip off 95. Very beginner friendly and only cost $35 to play. One more option that would be good if still open is Craig Ranch off of Craig Road, very easy to play and inexpensive at only $30 with cart.

I'll guarantee that they will have a better time playing any of these courses versus starting off paying $500 where they will play between 5-6 hour rounds and probably be ridden hard by marshalls while losing numerous golf balls.
