Just as the title states, flying up next week on business. Most military bases have good or decent courses at least so far for me, anything else in the area worth playing?
Thanks

Either of the Moose Run courses on FT. Richardson. Played both and considering, they aren't too bad.

Im from Fairbanks, AK...so lets take a tour of Alaska golf.
Moose Run - Creek course is 49th most difficult in the US. Not to bad fo a course, lots of trouble but can be entertaining.
- Hill Course is over 50 years old and much easier than the Creek course. pretty open and still a nice one.
Eagleglen- In pretty good condition, a little short but still a nice course.
Anchorage Golf Course- Pretty hilly and lots of trees. Greens are nice, fairways are crappy.
Settler's Bay- Front 9 is newer and very hilly, great views. Back 9 is older and flatter. The PubLinks Qualifier was just held here.
Palmer- Terrible condition...
If you have the oppurtunity, Chena Bend GC on FT. Wainwright in Fairbanks is the best course in the state. Lon with open fairways and good greens.
Also in Fairbanks:
Fairbanks Golf Course- Dont play here.
North Star Golf Course (Farthest north USGA rated course) Not great condition but not a bad challenge.
Id rank the courses in this order:
1. Chena Bend
2. Creek Course
3. Settlers Bay
4. Hill Course
5. Anchorage Golf Course
Any mor questions just PM me.
