I have a new PING Redwood Anser and I really dig the headcover, but I'm looking for something that is a little more stealth.
What are some cool designs that don't invite interest from thieves? (i.e., it can't look like a Scotty cover, because that would defeat the purpose.)

Take a look at the company that makes Scotty's covers, AM&E. They make good fitting and most importantly subtle headcovers for putters and woods.

Are any GolfWrx.com AM&E cover still available?

http://www.hazzadgolf.co.uk/Check out the Funky Covers section. They're mainly aimed towards the brits but you might find something you like.
Justin Rose uses the wood headcovers with roses on them (not surprisingly).

I'm sure Chewie would have some hair to spare for a new headcover, Han

Como Come or Dance with Dragon make cool covers.
Dance with Dragon don't sell outside Japan but you can get one from ebay seller smilegolf613 where they are (mis)listed as 'Dance with Doragon' although they are the real deal.

The "GolfWRX" headcovers are very nice.
If you really want to go low profile checkout the "Carbite, Brass Balls" headcover. They can be found for less than $5 on ebay and it is a very functional headcover. I picked one up at a local shop for $3 new.

If you have ANYTHING that invites thieves, you may as well just use the RedWood cover. They'll likely take the whole bag anyway. Buy a "Smith & Wesson" staff bag is my suggestion.

Yeah, PM Gxgolfer and he'll get you a sweet Golfwrx headcover. Love my St. Pattie's cover and he's got some standard issue ones too.

Good point. But I do like some of the designs that were recommended.

Me too. But they are even "blingier" than what you have. Use an old oddyssey cover or something if you want stealhty. What about screaming yellow Sumo cover? Screaming yellow Baffler DWS covers? Screaming yellow Cobra Speed Pro 3 wood cover. (Damn Charlie, aren't we "matchy?")

Yeah, I'm thinking about some knit pom covers for those. The stock ones just take up to much room and obscure the view of the other clubs anyway.
On the other hand, if I buy a yellow bag and keep the stock Sumo and Cobra headcovers, my bag would be the club equivalent of Sergio's clothes.

Club Glove used to have an all black putter cover that you'd miss looking in a bag. It isn't gaudy at all. Slips on and off very easily.

Barf....
The Pom-Pom covers are worse than regular ones for obscuring the view into your bag. I have some and NEVER use them. Even though they don't have brand names on them, anything that would be considered "cool" will draw attention. A set of those matching fuzzy fur covers you can get at the local golf store are as stealth as they come.

I don't have an expensive putter, but I do take pride in my putter cover.
It's my son's sock.
He's 3 years old, so his sock fits perfectly on my putter..
I usually wait till laundry time to fine a sock that can't find it's pair..
The sock is also great for cleaning the ball and putter after hitting.

Doesn't a 3-year old hanging upside-down from his sock on your putter get it the way of your other clubs?

Isn't he going to have issues with the kids at day care calling him "Johnny Green Feet" also??
