would be nice to have a ping hoofer designer similar to the oakley glasses designer/ fj customs
Mr3Wiggle
My son has that tool. Apparently it is given to very select accounts that do a lot of custom bag orders. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

I believe that you have to order 6 bags anyways, so unless you wanted six identical Ping bags hanging around, it'd be pretty pointless to try and custom design a bag for yourself.

It can't hurt to dream...

exactly
Rabidpenguin45
idk, this is like a wild goose chase. Either VERY good photoshop, or somebody has some custom orders with ping.
golfalot333
we were able to customize our own bags for our school golf team. We put our logo, team name, and personal name on the bag. We were able to choose the colour as well. They turned out pretty good. The only thing is, it took a really long time to get the bags...and by the time we did, the season was almost over.

It's a screen shot from Ping's custom bag builder web application. You can customize color/piping/screen printing / etc.....the screen shot is legit, not photoshop.

The post above is correct that you must order a minimum of 6 identical bags.

ccpgolf
How do you get to this web application is what we are wondering.

don't waste your money on a Ping Hoofer at any price/design, you'll only be disappointed.

I had a Hoofer 3 that the collar wore out on in 30 or so rounds...the internal bolsters that are part of the leg system also just totally disintegrated.

they replaced it with a Hoofer Extreme, the collar on that one wore out in another 30 rounds, and to boot it had exposed jagged edge rivets in the slot where the graphite shafted woods are stored.

they replaced that one with a Hoofer Vantage, the collar situation is much better but the leg system is a COMPLETE DISASTER...and the bag weighs a TON. same jagged exposed rivets in the wood storage area.

I gave up and went down to the local shop and bought a really light Sun Mountain bag, my brand new Ping just sitting in the basement.

prior to this I've used Ping carry bags for over 20 years with no problems, the last 2 years have convinced me to NEVER buy another Ping bag.

as an FYI, Ping are now making their bags in Mexico and the quality has gone right into the sheetayre.

JD

PS...oh, I left out the part that my parents paid high dollar for the first bag at a major club (hence, the logo) and Ping screwed up the embroidery on two other bags in the course of this process (so that's 5 bags overall shipped back and forth!).

This is real, check out the site. Fun to play around with.

That is pretty cool, now if I could just order one off instead of 6!

It is a limited edition bag that Ping sales reps were offered, each rep was allocated a number of bags to distribute to their local stores.
