He's a super nice kid with a level head and a hell of a game. I would love to see him make the cut. Good luck Chris!!! clapping.gif

Tell him we-all said "good luck".

Any chance at a name? I'll be there tomorrow and I'll look for him playing a practice round.

Looks like he got some ESPN face time just now... nice bird on 11! COOL
Teetogreen86
Chris ended up shooting 79(+9). He was going along pretty well but kind of lost it towards the end. Here's hoping to a good round tomorrow and making the cut! friends.gif

Jimmy Robert just did a nice piece on the people who went through the qualifying and it included Chris Condello. Was a very nice story.
Teetogreen86
He ended up at +22. Made two birds in a row today but had some rough holes otherwise. Either way I'm still proud of him. He got to play in the US Open. He got to live pretty much everyone here's dream.

Thanks to everyone who wished him well. clapping.gif

Kyle,

When we going to see you in the Open???? When you coming back up north again? I drove by the exit for Twin Hills 3 weeks ago and thought of you.

I saw him playing in the practice round on Wednesday, and he was signing anything people wanted, huge smile on his face, and his whole family was walking with him so you could just tell he was loving all of it. Always nice to see that rather than some miserable tour players, but congrats to him on the opportunity of a lifetime!

Glad to hear that. He said there were some groupie chicks following him so he signed some stuff for them too rolleyes.gif . Overall he said it was the best experience of his life, hands down. He came back with huge smile on his face despite the scoring. He said he is really pumped because he hit it about as good as all the guys he played with, but it was just the greens that got to him. So he's got some confidence going.

Mike good to hear from you. I was actually up north last month for a week. Crazy busy while I was there. Weather was nice the first two days, 85° and sunny. Then it was 50°, rainy and windy the next three. Kinda miserable. Oh well. I'm hoping to stop home sometime in the fall for a few days. If I do I'll get in touch and we'll have to tee it up. How's the little one doing?

Hey,

Mia is getting HUGE, she will be 20mths old in 2 weeks. Been crazy busy on this end. I bought a new house up on the NH border in a really nice town. I went to the BofA Champions Tour event today with my buddy who I used to play Twin hills with, we are going to plan a day trip down there for the end of July for old time sake.

You playing much or working too much. You a +hdcp yet? Mine is rising like gas prices! smile.gif

Congrats on the new house. That part of the northeast is beautiful. Let me know how Twin Hills goes...

Not playing at all really. Too busy with work and other stuff. I played 3 times when I was home and once down here since. Not to mention the heat.
