I'm looking for some good courses in WV around the Charleston, Huntingon, Beckley areas since I'll be here for a few months. What are the best courses for under $35?

Not sure for that price, but try TWISTED GUN, only about $42 with cart. We will be making a one day trip to play it this summer, better be good to squeeze in 10 hours of driving plus 18 holes in one day!
cacapon state park, a nice robert trent jones sr. course... CHEAP !!! and very nice. BUT, getting to be BUG TIME big time 
so take lots of bug spray. many of the stae parks in WVA have some nice courses... we go in early may, stay 2 nights, 3 rounds 252/ COUPLE !!!! GREAT DEAL.
