Does anyone else have this problem? Most hats, either won't fit correctly, or don't look good on people with big heads. Do any companies make hats for people with big heads?

AHEAD makes a good hat for big heads.

I have a big fat head, and suffer the same problem. I find the PING "unstructured" hats are nice and deep, and big, also I have a Adidas/Taylor made clima cool hat the one with the spots around the ears that go up, it fits nice, and is the most comfortable hat I have ever worn, just make sure to get the l/xl.

If you like a wide brimmed straw hat, the Greg Norman one is very nice and looks good on my huge dome.

Just wear small hats. You'll look fine as long as you don't have a unibrow.

LOL...

As a rule, I usually look for structured baseball type caps or just go for visors. My head is a 7 5/8.

Anything low profile will make it look like you have a beanie with a brim on.

I have a fairly large noggin as well, and my experience has been that you just have to try on various hats until you happen across one that fits right. I just don't know if quality control is all that great for most hats, because it seems like there's a great deal of variation among hats of the same style and size. For example, last year I found one of the TM/adidas hats in L/XL that seemed to fit nicely, but I didn't like the color. I found a color that I liked in the same store, but the L/XL in that color cut off circulation instantly.
I'll keep my eyes open for the AHEAD brand mentioned above, and if anyone else can recommend a winning brand I'd be interested in hearing it.

i bought a black nike tiger woods hat from some online store a month ago and when it came it was made from that mesh breathable material and i put it on and it was so shallow on my giant head i was quite annoyed seeing as how it was about $30

i was out getting a haircut today and i strolled into this hat store called 'lids' to check some out and i saw they had the nike TW hat in the regular material so out of curiosity i tried it and voila it fits perfectly, very deep and isnt tight at all, very shocked, so i immediately picked it up.

confirmed

Ahead vintage classic cut fit big heads (large & tall)

The Nike fitted, unstructured hats are a great fit.
They're a bit hard to find in L/XL, but if you can find one, they are the best for me.
Also the new Callaway tour "trucker" style mesh hats are nice.

Thanks for the link to the AHEAD website.
Follow up to my previous post. I looked through my closet the other day and found a hat that I received at a recent charity tournament but had never worn. It turned out to be made by AHEAD. I tried it on, and it fits great. I'll echo everyone else in recommending AHEAD now too.

I have a very large head (7 7/8) and sometimes the AHEAD Classic Cut fits. PUKKA has a couple of styles that fit. I just have to try on a LOT of hats and when I find one that fits I buy it. One of the best fitting caps I have is a free Bridgestone cap they gave away this year on the corner of Washington and Berkeman near the entrance to Augusta National. Caps are like shafts, there really isn't an industry standard and you have to keep working to find one you like.

some big melons out there.

I also suffer from a monstrous noggin, I wear a size 8. Some of the ping tour stretch fit hats l/xl fit pretty well. Also, I know it isn't a golf hat, but twin enterprises makes an unstructured fitted hat that runs up to a 4xl for MLB teams. I stumbled on them at the Red Sox shop at Fenway, but that is the only place in the Boston Area I have found them.

For the most part, I have accepted that I am not in the target demographic for hats anymore and moved on to visors.

I too suffer from bigheaditis and have found that the Under Armour full back hats fit me quite nicely.

Same here. Its a bummer that companies shrink the hats to save money while us big head guys are stuck. I've pretty much moved to visors all the time but even those can be a problem.

You can get sized Titleist hats and their visors are still adult size. I need to check out the others mentioned here.

Thanks guys!
