Hi i recently bought a new set of clubs and asked my local golf pro to order a cobra staff bag. Anyway when the clubs and bag finally came in, they sent the wrong bag as it was out of stocl.

I did like the bag cobra sent, it is basically the titeist s74 staff bag. I didnt like 3 features of it tho, the umbrella is held from the outside through a ring on the side of the bag (was really tight and was stuffing up both the bag and umbrella). I also didnt like the bottom of the bag because there were straps hanging out everywhere which was getting annoying, and last of all it was too tight for my clubs, kept of scratching clubs and i had to wrestle it out.

Anyway i asked for the cobra staff bag http://www.cobragolf.com/bags/details.asp?id=9. This came in today, and now i dont like it as well lol. Its way to big and bulky and i dont like the material.

So now i am thinking of the titeist s74 staff bag, http://www.titleist.com/accessories/cart_b...S74_cartbag.asp. The reason this one is better then the fist cobra bag is that, umbrella is hidden in the bag, no straps down the bottom, also i think it might be a little more bigger at the top to fit my clubs.

Anyway i dont really no what to do. Anyone have the s74, i really loved the colour of the first cobra bag, titleist just looks plain. Are you happy with it?

Thanks

I can't comment on those two bags, but I went through a similar situation. I finally settled on the Sun Mountain Lightening. Is it the "perfect" bag? No. But of all the bags I looked at it was the one I was most happy with. It is very versatile, very light, and has lots of storage:

In addition, their customer service is very good. Good luck with finding your new bag!

If you're interested in a 'cool' looking staff bag, take a look at the japan staff bag, you'll be paying a premium.

I bought a titleist stand bag(cbs51) last year and I have yet to consider replacing it. It has enough pockets for all my gear as well as being light enough to carry.
