I am moving to San Ramon was wondering if anyone has played Oakhurst Country club in Clayton, CA. The price seems very reasonable compared to other clubs near the area. How is the golf course and is it worth it? Is the neighborhood near it nice?

Definately a nice area... It would be a bit of a drive if you are coming from San Ramon. Have you looked at any of the clubs in Danville?

Oakhurst is a very nice course. I've played it many times and don't get tired of it.

I have family that belongs there, so played it twice when out there visiting. Course was in good shape, and where they lived I would call very nice. Pricey due to the region but nice. And from what I was told, compared to the housing prices in the area, the club was very reasonable.

i used to live two minutes away. just under mt. diablo.

my friend's dad works in the pro shop. it's nice course and a great play.

gotta love it.

i have played there a few times. good course. the members are really nice. highly reccommend it. if i moved to walnut creek, i would consider becoming a member.

I though Oakhurst turned private already?
