i buy clothes at my Club, golf stores, department stores.

i don't buy any clothes on-line.
dudehere
I get all of my golf attire in department stores. I don't think I have ever purchased golf clothing from a pro shop - mainly because the selection is not as great as it is in department stores. Also, the Department stores will alter my pants for free.
Lord Thomas
After I play a particularly enjoyable round of golf at a nice course, I tend to pick up a golf shirt. However, since I am of below average height (I'm listed at 5'7", but its closer to 5'5"), it is a challenge to find short enough pants, especially at a golf store, so I find myself going to department stores such as Nordstrom, which charges slightly more, but who will alter my pants to my body.

Both,

Get most of my shirts from the pro shop and get pants and shorts at department store.
simmoboy
I get golf clothes from any shop.

It dosent really bother me where i get it from, but most of my stuff comes out of my uncles clothes shop. So I dont wear many golf brands on the course because all his stuff is street wear.

It all depends on if the place has something I like... My favorite Golf store really does not have a great clothing line. I will pick up shirts just about any where I find them The Nike dri fits some times pop up at Costco. You can find great deals at TJ maxx and ross on quality stuff some times also. I will Also pick up stuff on ebay. Nabbed My 2 lindeberg shirts there for 42.96 and 53.96 there this past year and I found 2 Mizuno polo shirts there this year also for less than 20 bucks each....

I tend to buy shirts from the "closeouts" or "outlets" online. I wind up washing these shirts so much during the summer that I haven't found many that hold up all that well so I hate to spend tons of money on them.
My shorts/ pants typically come from either a pro shop or department store...whichever has them when I happen to be looking.
schneck1977
When I lived in MI, there was a Greg Norman outlet over in Canada that I would go to a lot. Now in FL, it all depends on if I can find something that I like when I'm looking.
golfr03
Where I live there is an outlet mall close by that has a Nike
outlet store. The golf section is not very big, but the nicest
clothes for cheap, especially the pants which were only 50 and
the shirts which were only 30, thats a deal for nike smile.gif and
they have small enough sizes to fit me!! (5'5")
kiwidave
I really have any 'golf' clothes. I've got a couple of pairs of JL pants but thats about it. I normally just throw on a pair of jeans and t-shirt and I'm off.
oldpalchamp
My club has a "mill river" plan, and you just can't beat the prices. I buy all of my shirts and shorts there. I have even purchased some nice neckties and Cutter & Buck button down shirts there.
Teetogreen86
Being a college student with lack of funds, I usually hit up Ross and TJ Maxx or head down to the Outlet Stores in Orlando. You can find some pretty decent stuff for cheap in Ross and TJ.
Backspin9
I get mine anywhere and everywhere. If I'm playing a nice resort course I may pick up a shirt if the prices are right. My home course sells nice Ashworths and Tehamas at the end of the season for 50-60% off and I've gotten them there. I've also found some nice Greg Normans and Titleist logo shirts online at good prices.

Golf pants are pretty much what I wear everyday to work, i.e. Dockers and such, so I look for those at Kohl's or somewhere like that.
RickK
If you had the option to vote for "all of the above", I would have chosen that. If I see golf related clothing that I like, I will buy it. With the exception of shorts, I pretty much wear the same golf slacks and shirts to work that I play golf in.
DOUGLY
My sis manages an Adidas Outlet here in B.C.
I look like Sergio's fatter balder twin when I play.

And more Canaidanier too cheesy.gif
I crack myself up.
PreppySlapCut
Mostly Polo, J. Crew, Lindeberg, Lacoste, Fairway and Greene.
papichulosteve
i find that many 'golf' brands tend to run on the large size so most of my golf shirts are from polo, j.crew and lacoste, they just seem to fit better on the course for me
tildengolfer
I am also not a fan of those 'baggy' and loose fitting clothes..i like the more form fitting, Lindeberg is my pick rite now, i am also a fan of polo..but the large sleeves, and clothes just make you look so bland and 'one of the guys' is just not my style..
Sam-Tee-Time
I buy Ping Collection, Greg Norman, Ashworth, Nicklaus, and many other nice golf clothing at my local ROSS stores. It's always hit-or-miss on what you'll find, but I've found tons of great golf shirts (double mercerized) for only $14-$16/each. Great deals there.
Golfchicago
I try to support my pro first. He usually gets some cool stuff in every season. I buy some at Golf galaxy and online. That is about it.
the_krulatz
Online all the way! Easy, convenient, and you don't have to mess with any sort of holiday shopping spree nightmares.
animalistic
way more selection in department stores
DeoreDX
Add another guy who buys a lot of stuff from Ross/TJ Maxx. Great stuff almost always under $20 per piece. Selection is always hit or miss but it gives me something to do when the gf goes in there.
GolferGal2009
I usually just wear normal khakis when it's cold (abercrombie, holister) that i buy at those stores. Shirts are ralphies, lacoste or whatever that i get at department stores, the more specialty kinds of clothes i wear i usually buy at my pro shop because they can just order whatever (skirts, shorts, shoes, rain and cold weather gear). I usually order bally or puma clothes online because they are hard to find.

Yup, it's hard to beat TJ Maxx and Outlet stores. I buy a lot of my shirts from Polo (their outlet stores are great), and I also like the Ping Collection, Adidas, Callaway/Ashworth, Nike and Brooks Brothers. I live in Maine, and in Freeport, they have one of the two Brooks Brothers 'Discount Basments', which plaid pants, and a different array of colors are marked down to $9.99 + 50% off of that, which you would pay well over $100 if you went upstairs; they also have a great selection of Polos, whenever they get a shipment of the Double Mercerized Cotton shirts, that kinda silky really light material, I pick up a few of those. I also work at the golf course, so I get alot of my clothing at little above cost, so that's where I grab my Ping, Callaway, and Nike stuff. So I guess if I were to answer your question, I go pretty much anywhere to find a good deal, also I like to buy stuff from my pro.

Since its always hot in Miami pants are rarely seen. You see alot of bermuda shorts so I get those from a rgular store, but my shirts for example I got a Nike Dri-fit spandex thing is from Macys, My NikeGolf school shirt is from the school and my pga tour apparel is from JCPENNY
Golfdog
My primary place is TGW.com (and Golfsmith to a lesser degree). I shop at the end of the season, and the first day of big sales. I can usually score some good looking Cally, Ping, Nike and Izod shirts for $19.99 each. I woulde say I get 2/3s of my shirts from there. The next largest source is from pro shops using credit earned in tournaments. Finally, I pick up a few shirts when I am on golf vacations because eith the course is cool, or I see styles of shirts I can't find at home/online.

I used to buy shirts on eBay, but I stopped doing that because I couldn't return them if I didn't like them. TGW.com takes shirts back without any problems whatsoever. If it doesn fit or I don't like the style, back it goes.

STEIN MART

They have PING shirts for 1/2 off, which is all I wear.
mljones99
Alot of my polos are Lacoste and Burberry and both have a store here Charlotte.
PGMlady
Lately I've been buying shirts at Izod. Golf galaxy is also nice but they are not closeby. In the summers, I buy clothes from whatever course I work at because I will get a big discount.
Noncenx
I tend to by online, usually last years line that's on sale since I'm no fashion mavin. Besides, I just can't see poping for a $50-75 shirt when I can get the same one at 1/4th the original price in 6 mths. Usually check eBay, the usual golf sites (TGW, Edwin Watts, Goldsmith, Golf Galaxy)
br61
I'll buy my golf shirts and others from my club pro first. He'll give me a good deal. On what he doesn't have, I'll buy them from other stores.

I try not to buy too many discounted or clearance clothes online, learned my lesson hard way, once bought few shirts from a certain Adidas discounter that came with holes in them because that idiot put in plastic strings or whatever it's called through middle of the shirts.

Turn your shirts inside out and use a small amount of dishwashing liquid and do not use washing powder. The bleaches in the washing powder kill the colors.

I was told this my a shirt manuafacturer.

I buy my shirts from the outlet malls or online at closeouts. I do not mind last years colors or models
VTHOKIES
I am not affiliated with this company in no way but I came across their web site when I was looking for golf shirts and wind shirts. The site is countryclubclassic.com and it looks like they have some nice shirts, etc. I do not know about the quality but the pricing is really attractive.
Huskypride28
I am fortunate that a Golf Galaxy is right up the street from my house. So that is where I get all my gear. Although it is not so fortunate for my bank account. I go there way too much. I'm such a loser that I'm even a part of their advantage club so I get their catalog once a month in the mail, and of course they have coupons for clothes, equipment, etc. Once I get that catalog and clip those coupons I run right up there with my 20% discount to buy yet another golf shirt to add to my already exceded collection.
Big D McGee
Shorts and pants definitely at Target, or even Old Navy.

As far as shirts, I have enough polo shirts to last about five months without wearing the same one twice. So the only reason I'll buy a new polo shirt is because I'm playing a great course and want something to remeber it by.

I buy most of my golf shirts on-line at either TGW.com, or Golfsmith.com. I like the selections and I like the prices. You can usually find great deals if you buy stuff offseason (i.e. winter stuff as the weather turns warmer, and summer stuff as the weather turns cooler).
pingjas
I like to rock some Old Navy. Truth is, it's all I can afford.
mimime77
Is great that in Hong Kong they got Callaway, JL, PearlyGate brand store avaliable.
cmarkmyers
I like to dress pretty conservatively so I am not a fan of logos or even little pictures, so I can get my polo shirts just about anywhere. And because I want to spend money on clubs or playing I rarely go overboard.

So if that means its a polo from Target, Old Navy, or Kohls so be it. If I am out and about anywhere and I see anything that looks golfish and inexpensive then I will probably buy it.

Actually, now that I think about it, I really don't buy clothes on my own. My wife tends to hate anything I buy. So she buys my stuff at those stores.
caddiegolfer
That is an easy one Golf Galaxy, I have one in town. Best prices with best selection!!!!
BarryMCokiner
DunningGolf.com
sheppy335
i usually buy my shirts and short(pants) at a department store, i buy my rain gear at a golf store.
Mrthinners
my home clubs pro is a bit of a butcher.gif when it comes to the price of sweaters and club crested clothes.... i would anually purchase a club jumper of him but thats just because everyone in the senior squad must have one for matches etc...

i would buy 99% of my clothing of the web... funkygolfgear.com, premiumgolf.co.uk..

MrT
ixcafe
Check out Macy's during their sales.

I used to get Weatherproof, Greg Norman, Izod, Le Tigre, Lacoste at 70%-80% off MSRP.
RRyders88
