I will be visiting relatives in Jefferson, Georgia this summer. Was curious if anyone has played the Traditions at Braselton? Any other must plays in the area?

Haven't played Traditions but have heard good things and would like to try it. My father-in-law said it was nice and the 13th hole (I think) where some guy buried his girlfriend is all fixed up.

A few to try:
Chateau Elan courses (right next to Traditions I think)
The Georgia Club up 316 is a nice course
Hamilton Mill is a Fred Couples design
There are 3 near Gainesville - Chattahoochee, Chicopee Woods and Royal Lakes
Bears Best if you want to come farther south (Suwanee I think)

Will try to check a few of them out next month. Relatives just moved to a house on the par three 8th at Traditions. Should be a great week of golf.

Hamilton Mill is part of Canongate now so it is private.

Chicopee Woods has 3 nines and is a great course. Chattahooche was just renovated and I have heard it is wonderful. Chateu is a fun course, both of them.

Bear's Best is more of a novalty, do it once to say you have done it. It is always in great shape, but just seems a little over priced, OK alot over priced especially when you tip the suggested $25 for the forecaddie.
