Well done to Raphael Jacquelin who won his first European Tour event at the 287th attempt today at the Madrid Open. Amazing that it's taken this guy so long to win as he has a great swing and has been in contention so many times. Hopefully he can kick on from this and contend for a Ryder Cup spot next year.

Good also to see Paul Lawrie finish runner-up, a welcome return to form after some indifferent form recently.
