I'm taking my son to Wachovia on Wednesday.
Any recommendations on where to see the big names play?
Should we take folding chairs?
Thanks,
Craig

Craig,;30am
I took my son today, and the word was that Tiger was going to play the Pro-Am on Weds with MJ at 7:30am. It will be a madhouse there for sure....get there way early, get a pairings sheet at the gate and get to the grand stands to watch! Should be a blast....have fun

Tiger goes off of #1 at 7:30am. If you want to see Tiger, I suggest catching him on 1 of the first 4 holes. By the time he gets to 5 or so, forget about it, especially with your son. It may be worth finding somewhere on the back 9 to sit and watch the groups come thru. Phil goes off of #10 at 7:30am, and he may not have alot of people with him because of Tiger. You can follow groups or find a spot and camp out. The 2nd is a little downhill Par 3 with ample stands at the green. #7 is a must see if only for the houses (read: mega-mansions) that line the far side of the fairway, and you get to watch the players try and hit the green in 2. The 13th is a great little Par 3 to watch, with bathrooms and concession stands right there. It's about as far away from the clubhouse as you can get, so it's often less crowded there. The 14th is also a great spot. You can watch the pros try and drive the green, and you can look out across the lake at the par 3 17th.
It's going to be a hot one; sunscreen and water!

YES to a camera. Only forbidden on tournament days.
Shoot some nice ones of Tiger and MJ. A report on MJ's game would be cool too.
Have fun, wish I could be there....
