...are wearing the old Adidas 3 stripe Traxion shoes instead of the Tour 360s? I can't believe its a contract thing as Adidas don't make their shoes with the 3 stripes down the side anymore, so what gives with that?

The only thing I can think of is the 3 stripe come in a wider fitting?

well some people prefer the older one becuase they have a more classical look. i know stuart appleby still wears them as well. as long as they have 3 stripes on them i believe adidas is alright with it.

lots of guys are still wearing Tour Metal 1's also.

I have both traxion 3 stripe and 360s and the fit is infact different. on dry conditions i like the snug feel of the 360s but on anything mushy or fluffy I like the feel of the old 3 stripes better... good thing they are now my "mudder" shoes, so it all works out for me. As far as why they do it? why do rock stars insist on only green M&Ms backstage ? who knows....
