I am looking at getting a set of pom pom headcovers. (I like the old school look) Of these two, which is the preference of the two, and the reason why you prefer one over the other..thanks.

I personally like the Rocket Tour's. Their lines are cleaner, and they look more modern, while still classic. Lots of color options, much cheaper in price & very durable. I have owned many of them (with each changing bag color). See my bag pics (link in signature) for pics of the Rocket Tours.

They are both good. I think the edge may go to jan craig for resale value. Both durable.

Rocket Tour based on customer service. You will get them sooner and I like the looks better also.

Jan Craigs are much thicker and are hand made. (I have had both) They take a while longer, as they are all custom orders, but they are worth the time and cost.

my opinion but not even close, Jan Craigs are superior - thicker, hand-knit, and overall better quality, plus they are always in fashion.

Don't like the fact that Rocket Tour puts their name on the headcover. The name is way too big. Takes up most of the headcover. I bought a set and sold them right away because of this.

Jan Craig is much better quality. And they don't put their name on the cover.

Quality = Jan Craigs
Customer Service = Rocket Tour
Bought a set of RT for a friend. A month later, one of the RT covers start to develop a hole. A quick email to Helena and a new replacement cover is on the way, no questions asked.
Just my experiences.

http://www.parfectgolfcovers.com/My vote still goes to Jan Craigs! In the bag at the Ryder Cup, Tom Watson and even Nicklaus's cover of choice!

That name on the Rocket Tours - a non-starter for me. If I wanted to advertise for someone, I'd be using the club manufacturer's stock headcover. What was Rocket Tour thinking???

I've had both, and I agree the Jan Craigs are superior quality. That quality also comes at a much higher price, however. I recently got a set of Rocket Tours, and am quite satisfied with the product. I will also give them 5 stars for customer service. When I ordered min, I sent a note saying that I wanted for my fairway wood and hybrid, I wanted a Pom for the hybrid, but didn't know if it was the proper cover. Helena sent me a skinny stick cover for no charge in addition to the Pom cover. I now use that on my putter. Great people!

Theres a guy over in the Hilton Head / Myrtle Beach area goes by Classic Headcovers. Best poms on the market. I have one on my driver that has lasted with no yarn loss or holes for 5 and a half years. Best quality with thickest yarns I have ever seen. Can custom colors and pick numbers or stripes. Has a website but can't remember if just www.classicheadcovers.com or what. In a lot of tour bags too that folks mistake for Jans or Rockets. His are all handmade and premium.

I bought a driver, 3 wood combo from parfectcovers on ebay last summer. I paid for two what one Rocket Tour would cost
However, the 3 wood cover developed a hole in the head area with in a few months so I shelved it. When I email Kimberly last week to ask her if it could be fixed she said no, I would need to buy a replacement.
You get what you pay for.
