Back in the day (before Golfwrx.com) I remember that I used to wait anxiously for all my golf magazine subscriptions to come so I could view the latest and greatest equipment. Now it seems like when the mags do arrive they're yesterday's news! Pics of "their latest equipment" has already been posted on WRX.com weeks even months prior.
With that said, I think that it's time to cancel a few subscriptions and use that money to buy a new club. Hahaha...
Gentlemen, keep up the good work.

I agree whole heartedly. But how many of us will miss the incesant advertisements that are found in all the magazines??? lol.
Although I do manage to pick up Todays golfer and Golf monthly from the UK. They have great info on equipment and unbiased testing in almost every issue. You can pick them up at your local barnes and nobel..

While the golf forum sites have long outpaced the US magazines, there are still some very cool japanese golf magazines that these websites cannot keep up with.
I have a bunch of subscriptions, but they were free or so cheap it did not matter. I can't remember the last time I read an issue of any golf magazine in the same month it came out from cover to cover unless I was on an airplane or in a hotel.
Best thing I have done for my game is to stop reading any tips from a magazine. It took me two months to recover from the swing change disaster introduced by Jim Hardy and his one-plane/two-plane nonsense.

The golf magazines are sitting next to the $hitter...that is great reading time and almost exclusively the time I spend reading them.

Not to bash the other major forum, but the reviews section over there really hasn't been worth it to me.
The problem is, and I am as guilty as anyone, when most everyone does a review of a product, seems like they give it a positive review too quickly after purchase. I wish there were a way to not review anything until after the poster has hit the club for a while. I guess it all boils down to self control. I did a review over there for some Wilson Staff blades right after I bought them that I should have went back and edited. I gave them too high of a praise.
I love this place though. Great pics in the TOUR forum and great discussions so far.
Excellent job Guys!
