I was reading about someone who had their wedge re-grooved into Y cutter. I was wondering if i could get my Rac Black wedge re-done like this? How could i go about this?

I doubt you can get the wedge with Y grooves without forking over some serious $$. It would most likely be cheaper to get the Y's through your "tmag" connection. You can buy a tool from Golfsmith that allows you to deepen your existing grooves. I have done this and had phenomenal results (like backing the ball up from out of the rough). You have to be careful not to go too deep as that would make your wedges illegal. You can also buy a groove depth measuring tool for around $60 to ensure accuracy. It's a great way to preserve your wedges but the deeper grooves will shred your ball covers.

Am I the only one left try to get less spin out of my wedges?
I have a hard enough time as it is keeping balls from coming off the greens. It takes me a good 2 months of heavy range use to break in a set of wedges for play.
I hit some y cutters and spin mills on the course and it is overkill for me and many of the tour players I know.

I def spin it way to much, only time my tour wedges come out is on a firm and fast golf course b/c u can control the spin and use it to your advantage

i have strange, i make every club in my bag stop on a dime, but none can come back, ubless it is a hill helping. I wanted more spin with my wedges to have the ability to control and expand the type of shots.
