birthday.gif My wife has bought me a round of golf @ RedHawk golf course to be played this friday 4/6/07. i was wondering if anyone has played there before and could possibly offer some advice as to the ins and outs of the course. thanks

I live just a few blocks from the course and have played it only a couple times this year. They have finally finished some minor course modernization. The fairways are not in as great of shape as they should be but still very playable. I really do not have any specific info since I am not too familiar with the course. There are many hazards (small streams, tree lines, etc.) and a few undulating greens. Good tee shots and placement are really key. All together, I really enjoy the challenge and uniqueness of this course. Have fun!

I played there a couple years ago and from what I can remember, it was a fairly short course that made its way through a residential area. It has it's fair share of tall brush in the rough and OB along the houses. The course has some elevation changes that can make club selection a challenge especially if the winds pick up. You must drive it in the fairway to score well. The greens were pretty good, but as Sam said, there was some construction going on back then. Here are a few pics of the course. The Par 3 surrounded by water on 3 sides was nice.Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment

that brings back memories. I used to live in Temecula for 5 years. I miss all those courses. I am back on bermuda. Miss that sweet grass out in Cali.

Good Course. One of the tougher ones in the area.

Love that course. Your bring back memories upon memories there from fishing there and catching a 10 pound bass and shooting 69 there from the original tips.
