...Or, is this more of a long-pants shoe?

They appear to be "cut" more formally than the average golf shoe. They look like they'd be more in the style of FJ classics (with a JL flare, of course). Whereas I could never pull off wearing FJ classics with shorts, I'm wondering about the JL shoes for the same reasons...

85% of the golf I play is in warm weather/shorts. Wouldn't want to drop a lot of cash on shoes that I wouldn't be wearing too often.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Huh? I wear my FJ Classic Premieres with shorts all the time. They look great, much better than a tennis shoe style.

That said, I just got a pair of the old JL Puma Tour bright orange shoes, so what do I know? LOL

You must not have chicken legs like me. LOL

I'm not a fan of sneaker-style (I'm from Philly, so "tennis shoes" are shoes you wear for tennis) shoes, either. But, to me, it still seems that some shoes are more suited to one "look" vs another. As I understand, they are more or less square-toed shoes, and so I ddn't know if they'd look "right" with shorts.

Or, I could simply be losing my mind (some more). crazy.gif

I think they would look good with shorts...like Mike as well as a lot of other people, I wear FJ Classics with shorts ALL the time, and they look great.

Glad to see I am not the only one, as I have Footjoy Classics and wear them with shorts all the time as well. I am even in Ks neighborhood, so I guess if I hear someone laughing at me, I will know who it is... tongue.gif

K, where are you from in the Philly area?

Well, I've taken more than my fair share of ridicule for my current Puma golf shoes (some really funny stuff, like "Luther Vandross called -- he want his shoes back," and other crap like that... LOL). So, I can't imagine things would be any worse with these JL Puma shoes!

Me, I'm in Lansdowne. Rolling Green is my home course. What about you?

Thanks!
