It started out as finding a cheap replacement for m 13* Original PT. Alright, bought a 15* 904F. Too much loft, sold it. Decided to buy a PT headcover in the meantime.

Then I realize m 975J is a bit old and get on the bandwagon to pick up a 983E w/Pro95. That may turn out in disaster as the person whom I won it from had his account compromised after I paid and he hasn't replied to my emails (though I did manage to talk to him on the cell).

I know that my Vokeys need replacing, so I pawn them off (54*10 and 60*12) for $20 and pick up a new rac Black 60*07 for $75 shipped. Not too bad all things considered, but I still need a 54*10 rac.

And today, I won an auction for a Newport 2 Stainless in excellent condition for $163 shipped (link) because my TeI3 Newport 2 is a bit too light and needs refinishing...$175 to the Cameron Studio whenever I get around to it.

When will this ever stop? I suppose after I get a 54*10 rac it'll die off for a while, but I've actually considered stocking up on different Vokey/rac wedges in case I decide to switch between them on a regular basis! help.gif

Keep in mind I'm a senior in college (poor college kid, big surprise) who is trying not to slack off on his schoolwork as he applies to grad schools and jobs.

Oh, and this is all in the last 2 weeks.

I am sure my wife wishes my Ebay addiction would stop.

I made out like a bandit last week.

Here's the story. Back in April, I purchased a Cobra Baffler 2h from the local golf shop. Hit it ok, but as of late I had not been hitting it pure. I think it was because of the NV65 shaft. All of my other hybrids have a steel shaft.

Anyway about a month later I purchased a partial set of PING S59 Tour irons, 6-W. Last week I decided to put the Baffler on the Bay since it had me baffled. Sold it for $80 or so. Then picked up a partial set of PING Eye2 irons 3-6 to make myself a combo set for $71.

In essence, I swapped the hybrid for the other half of an iron set and have a little money left in my Paypal account.

I couldn't be happier.

95% of my transactions on Ebay have been golf items. Yes, I am addicted as well.

I liked the feeling of saving all that money clapping.gif last week I got a Titliest 980F 3wood for $90 shipped, only used 2 rounds and regripped. Getting it today and heading to the range biggrin.gif now I'm looking for a putter, dont know which one i want since i dont have much experience in golf, but the Nike OZ T100 looks nice.

My latest find......for a whopping $10.49 plus shipping. An original Adams Tight Lies 3 wood with a gunmetal type finish. Pretty sweet, except for the whippy regular shaft. I may have to reshaft it.

This is the only type of 3 wood I have ever been able to hit with any success.

Just make sure you don't put yourself into debt since you're a college student. I graduated 2 years ago and I lucked out, but many of my friends came out with $2-3k in debt due to buying non-essential things.

First two things they seem to do when you arrive at college is to show you to your dorm room and show you to your mailbox which is full of credit card applications.
