Hey, just wondering if anyone has played at Stonewall resort the Palmer Course?
I think my father and I are going to play this course on its opening day on our way to Augusta since it's right on the way and has lodging there as well.
If anyone has played it do you have any impressions of it or the lodging?
Top 10 New Course rated by Golf Digest...cost $50 to play so I'm thinking it has to be a great deal?
Full Version: Stonewall Resort?
Played there in October. Great track - back nine especially with good elevation. The Adirondack style lodge is solid too. Good bar downstairs and nice firepit by the lake.
NOTHING else around it so don't be looking for nightlife.

P.S. If Glade Springs is open in Daniels (another 1hr south) you might want to try there. Their Stonehaven Course is stunning. They also have accomodations on site as well. Again PM and I can provide some images for you.
