With Callway buying out Els's remaining Titleist contract, it made me think we should do away with the President's Cup, and instead, have the first ever Corporate Cup. Some teams might need to be altered, some may even need to be added. However you cannot tell me this would not be worth watching. Not sure of the format(s) neccesary, but I think Dubai would be a relevant and fairly neutral site....

i'd say it'd be team callaway vs. team nike in the final

geez that would be awesome but I'd have to say the tmag team would make quick work of the other crews

i'd say callaway and nike are the front line favorites. srixon wouldn't be too far behind either.

Not one OEM will sign up for it.
If you lose it would do a lot of harm. Kind of like implying you have inferior equipment.

i disargee. i think most people who golf and spend $700 to $1000 dollars for irons and $400 for driver wouldnt base the purchases on who won that match

Isn't there already a corporate cup...I mean Fedex Cup. I couldn't even fathom the amount of money the PGA, CBS (or whoever televised the event), and the course would want for such a promotional event. I just don't see it happening.

It's a tie between Callaway, Nike, and Srixon. Cobra would do well if their young guns had a good couple of days.

Nike, then TMAG then Srixon, then Callaway
Can you imagine someone like Nike finishing last in an event like that? Serious bad mojo for the commercials. I couldn't see a lot of players signing up for it to be honest, or a lot of manufacturers, particularly Titleist seeing as how they're picky about magazine testing

That would be an insanely cool idea. But it may put some serious pressure of the equipment companies to pay out the nose for the top talen and a few brands may not field teams. But I would be glued to the set. Maxfli would have to be with TM, and no one plays Hogan anymore, but they would be Callaway. The Cobra guys could be with Titleist, but who knows, they may want two teams. Who cares, it's sounds like way too much fun.
