Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone would be able to make a WRX t-shirt? i think it would be a cool idea.

Hopefully it can be cheap (10 bucks maybe), and have the wrx logo on the front, and a cool slogan(s) or picture on the back.

just tossin it up. i MAY be able to do it, im in the Student Leadership program at my high school and designed the teacher aprichiation shirts a little while back. my teacher's son in law makes t-shirts and can do it cheap...but its kinda a far leg. me, to my teacher, to her son in law....eh w/e

So if anyone has a good connection, and can do it, that would be great. i dont buy or sell anything online, so i would have to get the help from my dad and or golf coach for money and shipping. but im hoping one of you has a better connection to this stuff than i do.

if we were to have a t-shirt...any ideas for a design on the bacK?

We have done fidra T-shirts and polos in the past. Most likely it would be something like that again.

Well, from the looks of my poll, looks like people want a simple white t with some slogans, this is good b/c its the cheapest option

Now, i would like to know if anyone could do it? does anyone have a connection to someone who can do this for a good price? i know Les has a bud, so maybe we can do it through him, or Easyyy or GxGolfer have some contacts. Im no expert in paying and shipping, so you guys will have to work all that stuff out.

I will be sure and run it by her. They do that kind of thing alot. They handle athletic clothing, uniforms, etc. But I don't really know the ins and outs. So I will see what I can find out.

We found that most didn't want a slogan in the back. Just something simple with the site name on the chest and or sleeve. If we did, we were thinking of using the "What's In Your Bag" tag we usually use.

I don't mind the "What's In Your Bag?" But that kind of sounds like an equipment slogan. golfWRX isn't selling equipment. Also I see "What's In The Bag" that is connected to The Golf Channel being confused with that slogan. There has to be something to set golfWRX apart.

Just my two cents.

I always like the T-Shirts simply with the small logo on the chest, and then the same bigger logo on the back. I think something simple would be a small WRX logo on the front, and then on the back a bigger GolfWRX.com logo on the back. If you were going to put the 'What's in your bag?', then it could always go under the large logo on the back. Just a thought!

Here is my 3 cents worth...

The shirt should be plain with a nice WRX logo on the front or sleve or both. Tag lines on shirts don't appeal to me as they would look like some sort of cheesy pub crawl token.

I don't like the idea of going super cheap because you get what you pay for. Get a decent weight and a decent fit or 1. you will never wear it and 2. it will not last long.

I can get them done through Stanfields; just like every place else, the price depends on the size of the order, so I would need to get a number. Here is what I am willing to do... We can set up a poll to simply have a count of people who want a shirt. I can then take that number and get a firm price (once the printing is confirmed... you know, what we want on it and the colors, etc) I am then willing to get the shirts made under my account and distribute them to WRX'ers who want them. I will post the work order with pricing just to keep this on the up-and-up (or any other way I need to). Any ideas on how to distibute them and how members should be able to pay for them? I have no problem getting them done and taking payments as long as it does not cost me anything to do it. Open to all ideas here.

Just let me know if you (WRX site) wants me to do anything.

Honestly GxGolfer, according to my poll, most people DO want a slogan...so i really dont understand.

I like the idea of a small logo on the front, the bigger one on the back, and perhaps ONE slogan.

we could take a vote on the slogan and norrow it down to a few, then vote from there.

If we cant decide on a slogan, is it possible to get "custom" t-shirts and everyone can pick a slogan of their choice? or would that take aaway from the bulk discount? or even possibly have 1 set of shirts with the slogan, and one set with no slogan? im just trying to appeal to everyone.

My number one choice so far would be "If you can read this, you just got outdrove by a WRXer" i feel that the slogan should have some ATTITUDE you know? "whats in your bag" is alright, it just donest have that flare. I want somthing thats Bold

i like the slogan idea as well...here are a few other possibilities, yes some are cheesy and dumb but theyre just suggestions so dont hate...

Not hating on any one slogan, but I seriously doubt you will get everyone who wants a shirt to agree on 1 slogan. If the slogan was narrowed down to one (or 2) that someone does not like, they will not buy the shirt.

Maybe we can do the plain shirt with a good WRX logo and then have a long running challenge for WRX members to show off what custom slogans they have gotten printed on the shirt themselves???

Here's my idea for a shirt:

Front - Small WRX logo
Back - Larger WRX logo with "If you can read this, you have just been out drove by WRXer."
Sleeve - For a lefty, it should have WRX on the left sleeve, and visa versa.

I'd vote for a large GOLFWRX.com logo in the front. A smaller one right below the collar in the back, and then a slogan under it. I also like the idea of WRX on the sleeve.

I'd like to see a nice simple shirt(long or short sleeve) with the GolfWRX logo on the chest pocket area.

I've helped to design a few shirts for work. Personally, I'd love a huge GOLFWRX logo on the back with a small saying under it. I'd also like a log on the front left chest. It would definitely help to get the word out at golf tournaments that I'd be taking pics at.

How about a large GolfWRX logo on the back with "Got GolfWRX?" underneath? Simple but still a slogan, hopefully the best of both worlds. Just my .02.

Well, we are getting lots of diverse answers here.

So im gunna try to lay down the line...someone has to step it up. the only thing i want to leave for debate is a large logo (such as what soberguy has posted thanks to him) or just a generic small logo.

i was gonna try to put the slogan u guys wanted on the sleeve of a longsleeve shirt, but it wouldnt let me on that site, but thats just the first site that came up when i googled it...there were other ideas i had with different styles of writing and size of wrx slogan, like a small one on the front left, but i just thought the "you just got outdriven by a wrxer" slogan was a little too short for the back of the teeshirt to make it look cool. i dunno...i think people should fool around with that site or others that might let you put logos on sleeves and stuff and submit them for people to get a better idea...im up for whatever and just put up that slogan as an example

I took the logo from the headcover thread and put it on the front of the shirt. On the back, I thought it would be kind of cool to put a "GOLFWRX.COM" with a bar code. Nine Inch Nails did a shirt kind of like that a while ago, I thought it looked cool, maybe not so much for other people. For the quote, I put one on that my grandfather sent me a few weeks back, feel free to interchange it with something else. Is there a way to get a shirt in black? I missed how to do that, it's 3am and I must be lonely (wait no Matchbox Twenty), It's 3am and I'm exhausted.



Alright, one more post tonight. I live close to Cassels, a place that does a ton of team jerseys and such. The first link was to the types of clothes they offer. This is to their homepage. Another idea, depending on t-shirts, or collared shirts is the type of fabric or even looking at a sublimated shirt.

I absolutely love the idea of a Golfwrx T-shirt. I welcome any chance to represent this the site as poorly off as I do on the course. While I do like the idea of the lefty sleave, I think it might be overkill. Might not be quite enough demand to justify the special order (and logistics on ordering and delivery would get to be an avoidable PITA).

I'm largely against the whole slogan idea though. Golfwrx is a different thing to most members, so it would be hard to come up with a slogan that any majority could agree on (say more than 50% with 4+ choices). Shoot, we're having a hard enough time deciding between whether to have a slogan or not. That said, this would just be a gym-type of shirt for me, so I'm down for whatever (usually sporting a polo in the summer, sweatshirt in the winter).
