I am hoping Fred beats Vijay.

He is due for a win, and he can do it........ Remember the 1996 Presidents Cup? He holed out a 35 footer to beat him and take home the cup.

But, that was when Fred was awesomely good. (Might have lost it a little....)

Wow! When you go down the list and try to figure who will win each match, it really hits home how close this one will be. Great talents on each side.

Yep.

It can go either way. Be Very Close. or an International beating or an American rally and win 10 points on Sunday.

But, I think it's going to be very close.

This would be cool....... 1st nine. all Internationals..... Back Nine..... American Rally and Comeback and we win 10 points on Sunday.
corky

Looks like good stuff, but just like S. Africa darkness could become an issue. I'm not sure that stallin dog Appleby can finish in 6 hours.

I'm gonna have my wife tivo this one. I'll be in an all day tournament. Bad timing. This is definitely going to be a nail biter. I've got a good feeling about this one. I think the U.S. has the momentum after yesterday.

I am Aussie so I wonder who I hope will win derisive.gif I think the pairings are good...but I can see the Ints. winning before lefty's match is over yahoo.gif

Then again I am the worst judge of form ever bigwhack.gif

It would be great to see USA team win. But what is more important here is good sportsmanship and some good close golf matches that will make for much more enjoyabale viewing.

Good luck to all golfers

Jack in his mind right now think, VJ will beat Tiger. Tiger can fancy his chances against Goosen.

But I think VJ is not in a good form either. VJ and Tiger match is perfect as they are two struggling horses now.

Retief will beat Tiger and VJ will beat Freddie.

Jack stumbled on this one!!! (From the Golf Channel Forum)

Here's what VJ said about playing Freddie, "I'm looking forward to playing Freddie (Couples) in the singles. The way I'm playing, I should win my match."

I diagree, Vijay.

Never underestimate Fred Couples.

Fred is DUE FOR A WIN.

He will beat Vijay Singh....... Leaving Gary Player in disbelief.
Lord Thomas
Freddie is one of my favorite players, and I would LOVE to see him beat Vijay, maybe like he beat Woosnam in one of the Ryder Cups (9&8). And if Fred gets the putter working, he could go very low and definately challenge (if not beat) Vijay.
